Ive just had the longest, hottest, most luxurious shower, in... Wait for it.... My own bathroom!!!
Last shower at home was August. Since then I've been traveling around with a vanity bag in my handbag, and being cheeky and asking for a shower where one has been available.

The bathrooms not quite finished yet, we have some touch up on the paint to do, and still need to hang the towel rails etc. almost there, but that can probably wait now till after we move.

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

So you were not in the path of the Auckland Tornado, Weka?

I saw it on the news. Bit of a shock for those caught up.

Yay! :D :D
When we were having our bathroom plastered and tiled at the old house I used to go to the gym for a shower every day, regardless of whether I was working out or not :P

I remember ripping out our tiny little cast iron bath and putting a shower in. It took me a week and we had to ask our neighbours across the road if we could use their shower.....

One of the reasons the house now has 3 showers and we'll have more when we get next door done. Never again one bathroom.....

I know your pain and the joy. We started using ours again as soon as the cabinet was tiled and sealed. It took weeks to finish all the tiling and decorating but we just showered in a guddle....

We have two but only one, the en suite, is a shower cubicle which I prefer. The main bathroom has one over the bath.....I'll use it at a pinch but far prefer the cubicle :)

We have just one bathroom because the layout of our Victorian terrace doesn't lend itself to an en suite. Just as well there are only two of us, although we did manage to bring up two boys, and as this was my family home, my parents managed with six of us in a much smaller bathroom. If we ever move house an en suite is No.1 on the list of must haves.
