A trifle peeved

I really am - maybe more than a trifle peeved
Went to the car boot, loaded down with books for the childrens home charity stall, plus a few other bits for them, hoping to find more cheapo books for me too
They've shut it down for the foreseeable future
Why?
They're going to build a 35 bedroomed hotel in the grounds.
Speaking to a friend who lives locally, he knew about the plans for the hotel, but had no idea that the car boot was cancelled.
And looking at the amount of cars turning round, even the short time we were there, no-one else did too.
So I know have 4 carrier bags of books to get rid of - somewhere
Not a happy bunny
And to cap it all. Bente left the fridge full of goodies for us as usual
Half a very squishy melon, a large (used) tub of yoghurt, a very squishy avocado, one almost black tomato and a very small piece of cucumber Oh and a carton of milk - to be used by yesterday
