I gave a little push, then lifted her from my body and cuddled her close to my heart. And close to my heart she has remained, Happy Birthday my little princess, Happy Birthday Alexandra. (((((Alexandra)))))

(Whom we nicknamed Sasha at the time she was named)

4 years already, where did they do. School starts in 366 days. :o

Really MM? I might have to move, she's desperate to start.  Is it full on school learning to read and write or more free play at school?

Full on school aged 4 these days here, and a free nursery place aged 3 (half days usually) for the free playing and stuff.....

aw happy birthday to your little one :) doesn't the time just fly!

In Scotland if the child is 4 before end Feb/March (not sure of exact date) they would start school the August that year, but if they are 4 after that they start school the following year when they are 5.

My Amy was 5 in the June and started school in the August, whereas I was 5 in the September and started school the month before.

Different in England though! :)

I won't tell her this, she will be so disappointed. They won't take them a day before 5 here, and then you start whenever you like before your 6th birthday. She is so ready for it now, and is trying to teach herself to read. The light bulb has just gone off, so I'm trying to run with it.

Hehe, we had to wake her up, the sleepyhead. She never ever sleeps in past 6:30am. I guess old age is catching up on her.
