Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 31°. 8-)

A swim for me late morning. :D

We're going out for drinks and dinner tonight with two other couples. Between the six of us there's a Scot, an English with Irish parents, Dutch, German, Italian and an American.

Have a great day.

Morning everyone

Feels quite cool outside, but it's 15C at the moment, rising to a cool ish 25C later.

The lecky was going off a lot yesterday and we got fed up putting the clock on the oven right, so left it. So when I looked at 16.23 this morning, I was quite shocked   Yes, dafty Grumpy had got his timings very wrong

He's continuing sorting the pool out this morning and I have more weeding.

Popping into Ourique this afternoon, as I have a couple of things to take in for our meal out tomorrow. I'll take in my small artificial Christmas tree, a Father Christmas and some snowmen for the table. Patricia is going to look out some reindeer :D

Pit stop at the bar on the way back and then favas for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, someone has stolen the sun  I’d got very used to every day being sunny so this has come as a shock. Mobility class this morning, then later on I’ll do the ironing. The shorts I ordered for Edward from Next are arriving between 12.50-13.50 - the lovely Dominik from DPD is never late. Otherwise I’ll be doing h/worky stuff. Edward has gone to play golf.

Morning all :D

Sunny 8-)

Ramsgate has been celebrating the 85th Anniversary of Operation Dynamo when over 70 little ships set sail from our harbour for Dunkirk. A lot of the original little ships have been returning over the past week. They plan to set sail this Wednesday at 6am and should return on the 26th. 6am is a too early for us, but it will be nice to see them today before they set off. The harbour is decorated and the steps by the Sailors Church have been covered in poppies. We'd just moved here when they celebrated the 75th anniversay, the town always does a great job remembering this time in our history.

We'll park at Waitrose, I need a few bits from there anyway, means we'll have to tackle the hill to/from the town centre. Expect we'll be cream crackered by the time we get back home so nothing else planned lol

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morn8ng all, it’s quite dull and a bit cooler.

George had an early walk, I’m going to take a very short walk on my own after lunch to see how he deals with being home alone for 10 minutes or so. I’ll gradually lengthen that as time goes by.

Three loads of washing have been done and it’s now all on the line, it’s Joe’s weekend away washing, some of which he needs for his next trip tomorrow.

Jen, that sounds like it’ll be quite something to see! Can’t believe its been 10 years since you moved there though

Have a good day all :D

Afternoon everyone :)

I've just got back from a trip to IKEA in Bristol, with Emma. She wanted a plant pot on wheels, and a wooden "lazy Susan" to make a garden parasol base - she saw it on TikTok  I didn't have any plans to buy, but got a lovely bedding set for our bed, a collapsible padded storage box for Daisy's toys, some blue beakers for drinks on the decking, and a new vegetable peeler  :cute:   xx

Jen, the Boadicea is a little ship, one that went to Dunkirk. It now goes up and down the Gloucester to Sharpness canal, taking tourists. I took Aunty Rose on there, several years ago. What a sight that re-enaction will be! :)

Love to all :) xx
