Off to the garden centre late morning, with my MIL. I need plants for my pots and tubs, and some tomato plants

Lovely here at the moment, Carole on TV is just telling us there may well be snow over the Chilterns tonight

Better get some washing in, am so jealous of you Ally for the ridiculous reason that you don't have to think about the washing!
I'm off out this morning as Bb will be working here till lunchtimeish; must remember to get some chillies.
Kept hearing good things about the Hairy Dieters book (not from dieters either!) and Tesco have it for £7 at the moment so I bought a copy and it is really good Am going to make either the harissa chicken with bulghur wheat salad or Chicken Jalfrezi tonight
Back's killing me (all that time spent trying to sort this pc out over the weekend), so apologies not here much. Now must eat something so I can take some painkillers.

Morning all
It actually got cold today. I've put a heater on tonight. Winter is definately on its way.We have had thunderstorms the last couple of days, I love thunder and lightening and was trying to photograph it yesterday, but didn't manage to capture any.

It's morning I had a Kindy disco meeting, then Kindy in the afternoon. I wasn't intending on staying, but realised I couldn't stay tomorrow, and Oliver would then miss out on his play this week. I'm pleased the car managed to spit out an entire set of clothes, gumboots (wellys) and wet weather gear for him., oh, and a bag to put it in.
But it all worked out well, I put him in his wet weather gear which was lucky as it started pouring down. My he likes water, really likes water, and he was the only kid out there in the pouring rain playing in the water trough. and somehow he stayed so dry I don't have to change him, that we weather stuff mum made must be really really good.

Popping over to see mother this morning. She seems much better since they amended her meds and the last three visits have been really good. Fingers crossed today's no exception as it would be nice to take her out for coffee and cake.
