Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny now, but we had a big storm last night.

Tables and chairs were in the garden, moved from the front terrace, and one table had to be fished out of the pool  By heck, that water is cold

A little ironing this morning and then I'm going to brush the tops of the skirting boards, before painting them. As our floor is all tiles, the tiles also form a skirting board and they do get grubby..

Yet more rain is forecast, so another day of being stuck inside.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, the sunshine is hazy this morning as there is a thin layer of cloud and the outside temperature is currently 9.2c. I was hanging out washing earlier and you could feel that a change is on the way. Usual Thursday, we’ll do some dance practice this morning and I’ll clean the bathrooms I didn’t clean yesterday. Kellie will be here this afternoon and Edward is putting sweet and sour chicken in the slow cooker, she says she likes that. There are cashews in the recipe and we had to make sure that Michael wouldn’t be here as he has a nut allergy. Off to the shower now, I got up to put out the washing, then breakfast was almost ready so the shower was delayed.

Hello all and good morning - happy first day of Spring!!! Yay :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Ally, apparently the forecast temperature here today will be the same as yours :D Enjoy lunch and TV
Jan, wowzer, that must have been some storm. Enjoy the day of no weeding - you don't have many of those so make the most of it.
Cruiser, good luck at the library. As a matter of interest what is in the library that you can use to do your research, that you wouldn't have at home on your computer?
Osc, same here re the weather; you can feel the air is warmer today. Enjoy the chicken dinner, it sounds delicious

Well another usual usual for me - calls this morning and sending off emails and this afternoon I'm going to get some bits done in the garden. Apparently tomorrow and the weekend is meant to be rainy, so I'll make the most of today.

Have a lovely day all x

Hot, hot, hot 8-)

Everything went well getting here, the car was delivered yesterday mornng so we did a supermarket shop, visited our favourite spots, had lunch, and then watched the sunset.

It's just 8.50am here, we're just having brekkie and will then be off to the beach for the day 8-)

I'm bound to have missed things, so will do a proper catch up later.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Ria,

Itis the main Reference liobrary in the town centre. It is one of the sections of the U3A-University of the Third Age,

I can use the computer for free and the peron who organises the meetings helps you with the searches of the various records.

Itis very interesting but time consuming.

My son wants the information and I have learnt that a nephew is also doing a family history. May talk about it when we met in July.

Afternoon all, it’s a lovely sunny and quite warm one 18°c!

I’ve been doing some jobs around the house today, now I’m just working on the Tesco order for tomorrow. Could do with a trip to the big Home Bargains on the retail park near Stafford tonight too.

Joe’s been on a site visit near Cambridge today, he’s home now and has just gone for a 10 mile run

Have a wonderful time Jen!

Have a good day all!
