Morning all, it’s a bit mizzly here and there must have been rain during the night as the ground is damp. Mobility class this morning, then back to have lunch, maybe grab a nap, before getting ready for the ball tonight. It’s in Dundalk which is about 1 hour 15 minutes away depending on traffic. I’m not looking forward to the late drive home though, however needs must. General tidy around now, set out our clothes for tonight, before going off to my class.

Hello all - happy Friday

Ally, hope the delivery turns up on time; enjoy the usual Friday evening
Jan, yes to the grub for the coffee morning; that will be missed - as for the cleaning; well it's all only going to get messy again, so don't overdo it ;-)
Oh Cruiser, that's a pity about the butcher; it really is sad that so many smaller independent shops keep closing. And not just here in the UK; my family in Germany say it's the same over there. The smaller establishments just cannot compete from a financial and red tape point :-(
Osc, enjoy the ball and safe travels home. I'm the same and really don't like driving longer distances late at night. Safe travels home
Jen, hope you get all the washing sorted - perfect weather for outside drying!

I'm at Karl and Nadine's this morning. They're both at work and today were having smart meters installed, so asked if I could hang around whilst it was being done. Super efficient service, lovely chap turned up on time, cracked on and is nearly done. And it's not the easiest house to work in because the meters are in odd places and the boiler up in the loft... rather him than me

Off to Sainsbury's on my way home, neighbours are popping over for dinner - we're doing vegan burgers and chips; so I need to pick up the bits and bobs for that. Then home to clean; then vet appointment this evening and then home and relax and have said dinner

Have a lovely day all x

Good afternoon.
Just back from Sainsbury's. MrsC is going to do apple crumble for pudding on Sunday, yum.
It's as if all governments are trying to crush small businesses these days.
In other news Geoffrey the Patterdale terrier has struck again. Geoffrey is, according to another doggie person, "a savage little sod".
He's bitten the tip of one man's finger off and goes crackers when a car goes past. He is supposed to be muzzled on his trips out and is not supposed to go in the park.
Unfortunately his owner is a crackpot and takes no notice. So Geoffrey, on an extendable lead, has bitten another dog walker who had only bent down to stroke his own dog. "Oh did he bite you?" said idiot Geoffrey owner.
It's a lovely spring day here.
How nice it is to feel the sunshine!
Have a good day everyone.

Evening all

It's been a beautiful sunny and fairly warm day here. Set to be even warmer this weekend 8-)

The usual.Friday here - my SW meeting this morning, then a cuppa with Em and our SW friend Ruth, at the little coffee shop opposite the community centre. Round to see D with Mick after that, then a quietish afternoon here.

Crommers, I think Geoffrey's owner needs training!
