Piddling down, so no need whatsoever to get up. Mild at 18C

Joaquinha coming up sometime today to try and sort out the posh car,, which has refused to start again. I'd get rid of it, but Grumpy won't hear of it. Although he is coming round, a little.

I'm doing nothing at all today, as I feel really rough.

Morning all, it’s a bright day, cloud and hazy sun. Today I will clean the bathrooms that I didn’t clean yesterday We will walk down to buy some fish later. Michael’s school rugby team got through to the Leinster Schools Rugby Senior Cup semi-final, which is being played today - the first non-fee paying school to get this far in well over 20 years. It is being broadcast live on tv, so we’ll be watching that (me with half an eye because I’m not interested in rugby but want them to win). Michael’s whole school, 400 of them, will be there. Right, better get moving, those bathrooms won’t clean themselves

The car has gone off for a new battery

Ed's getting up in the loft to bring the suitcases down, fingers crossed we don't need to replace any. I've also sorted the beach towels, they just need a quick freshen up wash as they've been in the cupboard for almost 2 years. Think we have everything now, but you know what it's like, there's always something I've forgotten to put on the list. Expecting a Boots order sometime today, sun cream etc.

I've had my hair cut, eye brows and eye lashes tidied / tinted and later this afternoon I have a quick interview. Times have changed - this is an interview for a 3 week temp role! Gone are the days you registered with an agency; did a quick typing / PC test and then off u went - now apparently every role is interviewed for???? madness

We're been out for breakfast, walked the dogs in the sunshine - a blessing to have Fraggle doing so much father-in-law and been to see D I'v e done some washing, and got it drying on an airer in the conservatory. Am about to strip and change our bed. Have booked my train for the meet
