Good morning.

March already!?!?!?

Cloudy sunshine and ok at 19°.
There was some heavy rainfall yesterday in some regions but nothing for us. It's been an extremely dry winter so rain would be very welcome.

I'm off for my walk soon.

Yesterday was non stop for me so I'm looking forward to a day of reading and relaxing. :cute:

TV tonight and a Chinese takeaway.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

We have sun :Hi: And blue sky :Hi: A few fluffy white clouds around, mist in the valleys and 17C later. With more rain

Off to the Algarve later this morning, for my one and only modelling gig :Hi: Should be fun. There are nine of us modelling, with a couple of really little curies, doing some gorgeous dresses. Think they'll be stealing the show :D

No idea what time we'll get back, but the curry is cooked and Grumpy has darts to watch, so he's happy.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it was sunny when we got up but has clouded over now. We are heading into town on the next bus, want to look at stuff in M&S. Then back to do not very much, no doubt darts will be watched, you can really get into them and I can understand them ;) Michael loves the darts and he and Edward message back and forth while they are on.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

We were up at silly o'clock ready for our M&S trolley dash. Not sure what was going on over there, but they hadn't filled the shelves and only one till was open. Someone said they were short of staff, illness etc, can't remember it being so disorganised before. We've stripped the bed and the sheets are in the wash. Was planning to get out in the garden for a good tidy up, but Ed's done something to his neck again so will have to see how he feels as the day goes on.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good morning/afternoon all!

It’s currently 3.56am, I’m 8 hours behind you all, and despite being awake for over 24 hours yesterday I’ve only managed around 4 hours sleep so far. It’ll sort itself out. Great flight out yesterday with amazing views of a very snowy Canada and then the Rockies as we headed for the west coast.
Today we’re off to Warner Bros for a studio tour, we’ve done that before 8 years ago and it’s so interesting to see behind the scenes. We’re also going to the Hollywood Bowl for a walk around the grounds and the museum.

Found a proper diner last night just along from our hotel, been open since the 50s. We expected the Fonz to walk in. Had meatloaf, mash and veg and we’ll definitely go back again.

Have a good day all xx

Good afternoon.
A frosty start to the day here but it has warmed up slightly. Yesterday felt like a proper spring day.
Speaking of yesterday, armed police were patrolling the Trinity Walk shopping centre in Wakefield.
Perhaps they'd had a tip off that someone was going to ram raid Gregg's.
Jen, that is annoying. I hope you got all you needed.
Jo - happy days! :)
Have a good day everyone.

Afternoon everyone :)

Well we’re in London, Becky and I. Off to ABBA Voyage tonight - Becky has booked us a meal first. Bless her, she hasn’t let me pay for a thing yet, even my cuppa on the train and my tube ticket :D Really looking forward to the show - apparently it’s amazing! We rocked up to our hotel - where we are now - a bit early, as we had to get an earlier train. Our booked one was cancelled which meant no booked seats! Luckily we found some, as the train was heaving from Swindon onwards. The hotel let us have the rooms early :)

Jo, have THE most amazing time :) xx

Jan have fun, it sounds like a giggle :D xx

Love to all xxx

A very different afternoon.

A very English pub/bar, in the middle of the Algarve.

But we strutted our stuff - it was arranged that I wear three dresses. I've not worn a dress for about 30 years! One was black, shift type with some gorgeous red colours on it, with a cashmere coat. Now that was lush - bit too long for me, but lovely.

Next was a denim frock dress and the final one was a purple and silver designer thingy, with lace detail.

Not my thing at all, but they all sold.

We had two very brave men, who modeled shirts, trousers and for the almost finale, pyjamas

The afternoon raised over 300€ for the Alerta team, so well done.
