Good morning Sunday

Good morning.

Gorgeous sunshine and warm. 8-)

What a lovely little place this is. :D

We have a photo at home of the twins and Craig circa 2000 and the three of them are sitting on an upturned boat on the beach here in Mijas.
Yesterday on a walk we found the very same boat (repainted but definitely the same one) and I took a photo and sent it to our family WhatsApp group.
No words just the photo.
They all pinged back in minutes with one word: Mijas.

Today we're doing a sightseeing tour on an electric tuk tuk to explore the pueblo and surrounding areas. :D

We'll have lunch where we went yesterday as the food was stunning. :P

This has been a delightful visit and a very thoughtful surprise from Don. :cute:

Heading back home around 5pm.

TV tonight. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely, sunny but rather chilly morning.

Day nine and feeling much better. Still got a bit of a wheeze and cough, but nowhere near as bad.

One load of washing out. I was stripping the spare bed when I heard a rather loud ripping noise  ad the bottom sheet came away in my hand, well, some of it   Not complaining, those sheets are over twenty years old, so done us well.

I'm going to try and get some spraying done, as well as dead heading. And cooking a chicken for dinner. Probably last us for about three meals, as I'm not eating anything like as much. Lost two kilos in a week

Mijas sounds a lovely place Ally, enjoy x

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s back to the default setting of grey and drizzly after a sunny and mild day yesterday.

Joe’s at Jade’s until later so it’s just the two of us today, steak pie and mash for lunch and then we’ll go into Stafford for a mooch.

Had a lovely afternoon at Tom’s yesterday, John hung the mirror in the hall for him.

Mijas really does sound lovely!

Jan, I was changing our bed a few weeks ago and realised that I’d had the bottom sheets I was putting on and taking off way before we moved here and we’ve lived here 14 years now  The other realisation I had was that it was time to buy some new ones :P

Have a good day all xx

Good morning A;;y, JanB am anyody elsewho is up.

Only 14C hen I got up. Grey clouds and windy. No rainyet bt it is forecast.
Am doing ironing this morning. I washed yesterday while I was out and it has dried overnight.

JanB, I have bought king size sheets for my double bed. I was finding I was losing the double sheets as I sem topull the bedding about and the double shets would not stay tucked in.

When the ironing is finished will just be pootling again.

Have a good day everybody.

Good morning.
Grey, miserable, raining.
Mijas sounds great.
Hopefully you are on the mend now Jan.
Cruiser, we have that problem with the sheets too.
Osc, spring is on the way!
We are having daughter, son in law, Eliza and Ethan joining us for dinner, which will be lovely.
MrsC has made some buns and I have been told off for sneakily nicking one last night!
Fingers crossed for Fraggle Kaz.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, *sigh* back to wet and miserable again, not so cold though. We had a bit of a lie on this morning and I’ve yet to have my shower. No real plan for the day, I’ll just see where it takes me.

Morning all :D

Nice and bright.

Nothing much happening here, roast chicken and veg for dinner followed by Ed's favourite vanilla blancmange with lemon and lime jelly for pud. DOI and Call the Midwife this evening.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Cruiser and Crommers, we have king size duvets on the double beds. Less chance of a duvet hogger -gives the side eye across the room - taking more than their fair share
