Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 19 Feb 2025, 06:28

Good morning.

Low 20s and sunny. 8-)

My usual walk. :)

We're going over to have breakfast with Jacob.
He's off to Belfast on Friday with Inma. It's Semana Blanca next week and as she's a teacher that means a week's holiday as the schools are off. :cute:

We'll get some food shopping on the way home.

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

How you feeling today, Jan? xx

Good evening!

Another hot muggy day here today. Decided to cycle up to the courier company earlier, it’s a 15km round trip. I love my ebike.

Morning everyone

Thick fog  Although it is lifting, slightly, and the sun is coming through. 20C for us.

The head is clear, thanks Ally, but neither of us have any energy and the cough just creases me.

So we have cancelled today's plans and doing not a lot again. Supposed to be shopping and lunch out, but it can wait.

Lovely to see you Weka xx

I will make that shepherds pie today

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, something strange is happening here - parts of the sky are blue and there is some kind of a light shining down :? I think normal service is to be resumed later though, and the outside temperature is only 8c. Yesterday was dreadful, the temperature was supposed to “rise” to 7c but the wind chill brought it to -2, it was soooo cold. Bits and pieces to do today, go to the post office to take out money, pop in to the chemist for my prescriptions, clean the downstairs bathroom. I have a wash on too. We’ll have an early start tomorrow as we are bringing Michael and Kellie to https://heritageireland.ie/places-to-vi ... and-dowth/ , it’s just over an hour’s drive and we are booked for 11.30. There is a decent cafe there, so we can have lunch and then when we come back, we’ll go into the pub next door for our evening meal.

Lovely to see you posting, Weka!

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Ally enjoy brekkie.
Weka lovely to see you posting.
Cruiser good pootling.
Jan take it easy, shopping can wait.
Osc a busy day for you.

It's Noah's birthday, he's 15 and although he's the smallest of the boys, he's almost as tall as me now :o

We're off out later to collect our currency from the big Tesco. We rarely go there these days so expect we'll have a good mooch round. Will be interesting to see what they're planning to do upstairs, they had a massive Decathlon department up there, but that closed down on Monday. Also need to pop to Westwood Cross while we're out, another return.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Al, I hope they have an amazing trip. :) xx

Weka, that sounds like fun :D xx

Have a good one Cruiser xx

Good idea to take it easy Jan xx

Don't worry about that odd blue, Osc! It will soon pass - ours certainly did :P  Enjoy your trip with M and K tomorrow 8-) xx

A very happy 15th birthday to Noah, Jen! :D xx

It's back to the default weather here, grey and damp :cute: I went into town as I usually do on Wednesdays, but my friend cried off with illness - so I did a bit of shopping instead ;) A few bits for Mick in M&S, new jeans, a new sweatshirt and a long-sleeved polo shirt. :) He needed them, and it's no good me waiting for him to get them himself    Since getting home I have applied for my bus pass  Had to take my photo, it's a shocker but at least the application is in

We've had further news about Fraggle, but I will update on the other thread.

Love to all xxx

Evening all, it’s been back to the default weather here too Kaz. Grey and the occasional shower.

I’ve been sorting out holiday clothes today, think I need to go shopping

Just waiting for Eastenders to start now.

Happy Birthday to Noah!
