Being taken out today for Valentine's Day lunch.
I painted my nails yesterday in Pillar Box red in preparation.

Quite cool this morning, but it will warm up later. Was a gorgeous day yesterday. T-shirt and flip-flop weather

Off to the coffee morning, taking some freesias and roses, as well as the samosas, books, stuff for Lynda and for the Alerta charity shop. The car will be laden

My fingers nails are already red, I've found a red top and I have bright pink trainers

Friends coming up from the Algarve for it and then we're off to lunch afterwards.

The rest of the day will be spent resting

We treated ourselves to some roses yesterday and we're off out for lunch today. Probably San Clu, they do the best fish and chips here in Ramsgate.

Afternoon all, it’s cold but quite bright so that’s a win.

I’ve been to town this morning and now I’m waiting for the Tesco delivery. Joe’s working across the landing in the office, I’ve just taken him in a sandwich, and then he’s off to Jade’s once he’s finished. I’ve got to take my Dad’s shopping around for him this evening.

We’ve got a happy John and Tom this afternoon, I’ve managed to get standing tickets for the three of us to see Morrissey in Manchester in June.

It's really chilly here today SW first thing - lost some weight this week, which is good Mick picked me up afterwards and we went for a cuppa. Round to D's afterwards and just.for home.

I got Mick a card and some chocolates, he bought me roses. We're having a dine-in for 2 tonight, seeing as we're home alone - B is going to her dad's for the weekend.

Pheeew, that was a long day, we've just got home

Left at 9.30, picked up Lynda, bods started arriving just after 10.00. It's not supposed to start until 10.30

About 60 people turned up, so busy for us, not sure if any photos were taken, we were just so busy.

Friends from Algarve couldn't make it, due to work being done on their land, so Grumpy and I headed off to the Palma for the first meal in our medronho week. Medronho is a strawberry like plant, which makes a lethal drink

Lovely, thin ish slices of beef, with a side dish of a rather scrummy medronho sauce and another of black bean and presunto.

Back to the bar for a couple of glasses of wine, sat in the sun and just gossiping, lovely
