I have been trying to explain my hearing (or lack of) and how it changes depending on certain factors etc.
Instead of doing that I have decided to give a number of 'ear trumpets' to explain how it is
1 ear trumpet = deafness with continuous quiet tinnitus
2 ear trumpets = deafness with loud tinnitus and a cotton wool feeling in my head
3 ear trumpets = deafness with roaring tinnitus, cotton wool feeling and unable to tolerate certain tones or levels of sound.
Usually it is a 1 ear trumpet day fortunately
