Morning everyone

Sunny, but blowy and cold.

Been watching a huge machine in the field, digging up the tree roots, very impressive. Not so when he started before 7.00am

Off to Ourique this morning. Grumpy has to see the nurse and get the wounds cleaned, then we-ll do the shopping and then see Mario about the mot for the Honda. He wasn-t in last time we went.

Back for breakfast then I-m not sure what we will be doing.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you-re doing xx

Good morning everyone.

It is cold an frosty and still below freezing, but with blue skies, so I'll be staying in for a while just yet.

My hand mixer burnt out when I was making the bread yesterday so I am not sure how it will turn out, but I need a new mixer. So much for saving money making my own bread.

The de-clutter is almost over with just a few things left to take to the charity shops, then I can do a deep clean and shampoo the carpets. That's a weekend project.

Have a god one everybody and stay warm.

Morning all, it’s a beauty here - sunshine and not a cloud in the sky.

I’m hanging around for a parcel for Joe this morning. He has his disposable contact lenses delivered every 3 months and I’ve had a notification that they’re out for delivery. They’re always packaged so that they’ll go through the letterbox but quite often the postman will ring the doorbell to hand them over. I’ll go for a walk after they’ve been delivered, there’s plenty to keep me occupied around the house while I’m waiting.
Also should be having an Evri delivery (might stick a post on the random thread about the Evri man in a bit   ) and Amazon failed to deliver something yesterday so I’m hoping that shows up today too.

Also waiting to hear if the sale of mother in law’s house completes today, it’s supposed to and has to really as the mortgage offer which the young couple who are buying it have expires tomorrow!

Have a good day all :D

Good morning you three and everyone

Ally, enjoy the day and the sunshine (esp the warmth that comes with your sunshine LOL)
Cruiser, same weather here - I love cold crispy blue sky mornings like today
Jan, good luck for the nurse appointment and hope Mario is in. Enjoy your day, whatever you decide to do
Oh dear Frank... that is frustrating. What about asking on some free sites if anyone has a bread maker they no longer use and are happy to give away? Won't help the fact that you don't have a mixer, but might avoid another burn out?
Jo, good luck with all three deliveries (dare I say, esp the EVRI one LOL). And definitely good luck re the house sale, both for you and the young couple!

I might to pop into town to pick up something from Holland and Barrett, but that's about it. I have a catch up call with a recruiting company at 11.30 and after that, given the lovely blue skies today, I am going to take a break from the computer and thankless job hunting and will head to the allotment and spend time in the fresh air

Have a lovely day all x

Good morning.
Cold and sunny.
I have dropped Crommers jnr off at work and will be going up to our daughter's soon.
We will see what the day brings.
I know it's bringing cottage pie for tea, so that's a plus.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning all,
Bright and sunny for a change.

Our rotary clothes line needs replacing.

Well actually just needs the ground spike dug out and a new concreted in.

Difficult for me as I have a problem with my wrists.

So I called a local handyman for a quote--- £120.

About an hour, hour and half work

Forget that then

Morning all, sun and blue skies here but frosty and outside temperature is 2 degrees. We were wide awake at 4.30am, talking about the Washington air crash, if it had been summer we might have gone for a walk! Went back to sleep eventually only to be woken by a text from the car guy saying the parts were in and offering me my choice of days for next week to get the job done. Kellie will be here after school. We’ll do some dance practice this morning.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

This bungalow gets much colder in the front and we often have to clear condensation from our bedroom window, especially at this time of year. Decided to ordered a Meaco dehumidifier which arrived on Sunday and set it up as recommended on Monday. It's been going non stop since then, can't believe how much water it's collected :o Seems to have settled now so shouldn't have to empty it as often.

We're off out to Westwood Cross and a shopping spree. I've been checking the first aid kit and other essentials so I've got a big list for Boots. Also need to replace a few other bits, most of our summer clothes are absolutely years old!!

Hope you all have a good day xx
