Morning Ally, morning everyone

Quite a windy night, bit wet, with more rain to come this morning. 18C for us.

Will, no doubt, have a wet cat coming in soon. She went out at 5.20, when it was dry.

Not sure what I'll be doing today. I have to sew some of the lining in my winter jacket, as I keep stuffing my fingers through it   And I have a little ironing too.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all.

Rain showers, cloudy, and we will be lucky to get above 5 °C any time today.

I need petrol and will probably get the car a wash and valet. It has got a bit manky with the road salt and the frosts, so needs must.

I also need to get both parts of the duvet cleaned. I know it's the wrong time of the year but if I take them in early I will have them back on the bed in the late afternoon.

After that, who knows?

Have a good one everybody.

Good morning everybody,

Do you not alter your clock. Mine says it is only 08. 26 a.m.

Only 12c when I got up. It hasrained in the night. Still grey skies so we may have some more.
Just another day of pootling. Will change the bottom fitted sheet on the bed. I can then put the washer on as the basket will be full.

Am sortingthrough photos and riting on the back details of who they are the date and where if possible.

WM, my car needs a clean. Iusually o it myself but it has been too cold. So will take it to one of the car wash places.

Have a good day everybody.

Hello, good morning and happy Monday everyone

Ally, yum - fresh orange juice! Enjoy the convowalk
Jan, I have some hems that I really need to sew back - it's a job I always put off as I really detest it.
Frank, is there a right vs wrong time of year to take things to the dry cleaner - if it needs washing, it needs washing ;-)
Cruiser, I think labelling the photos' is amazing for future generations. It'll be a day of happy and sad memories for you no doubt, but hopefully most will make you smile.

Weather here is the same as the rest of the UK and same as what you've Jan got but without the warmer temperatures. Wet and windy and grey.... sigh. I really should get my car washed as well. I usually take it to a particular hand wash place but they didn't do a very good job last time and there have been a number of really bad reviews about them since a new manager has taken over; which is a pity as they used to be really good and bonus was that they are opposite a lovely restaurant, so Nadine and I used to meet up for a quick lunch whilst the cars were being washed.

The usual day for me - computer stuff and tidying and pootling. I have four parcels I need to send off, two at the post office and two returns that need to go to another place.

Have a lovely day all and stay dry everyone. Well, everyone excepting Ally, you enjoy the lovely Spanish weather for all of us   )

Morning all, it’s dull and dreary here and the outside temperature has just about crawled up to under 7 degrees. I’ll be off to mobility class soon then back to do whatever. Edward is not playing golf.

Afternoon all :)

Ooh lucky them Crommers, I do like Cyprus 8-) xx

It's been quite chilly here today - sunshine and showers. Just got home from Bristol, as Em and I went to Cribbs Causeway for our Monday moochings, for a change :) Didn't buy much, apart from a couple of T-shirts for Mick in the John Lewis sales, but it made a nice change.

Love to all :) xxx

Evening all, it’s been sunny, cold and breezy today but I managed to get two loads of washing dried.

I also went for a long walk, making the most of the dry weather. Lots of cleaning has been done and I’ve had to wait for two parcels for Joe this afternoon too.

It was a busy weekend. We had a full day in Norwich on Saturday. We showed Joe and Jade the house where John was born and then where he lived until they moved to the Midlands. We also took flowers to John’s parents’ grave before dropping the Joe and Jade off in the city centre while we found a car park. There’s one we always use but Norwich were playing at home so it was full as were the next three that we tried! We had a walk around the city before meeting them at Nando’s for food before the drive home.

Yesterday Tom came over for lunch, had a roast which is a rarity
