Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 23 Jan 2025, 07:01

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 21°. 8-)

I've put the washing on and I'll peg it out when I get home from my walk. :)

I've an appointment in Malaga at 1pm. There's an underground car park very close which is very convenient.

TV tonight. I thought I was going to combust last night watching The Traitors so goodness knows what I'll be like tonight.

Have a great day.

A little hug for Fraggle. xx

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Dry :Hi:  Bit cloudy, but I'll take that, and 18C.

Although Molly has just come in rather damp

Off to Ourique after coffee, do the normal supermarket and chemist run. Back for breakfast and then just pootle.

We're being picked up at the bar at 3.00, plenty of time to get to Lisbon. Going to be late back, probably about 9.00, so I have pizza in the freezer, in case we're hungry.

Good luck with the appointment Ally x Guessing it's to do with your op?

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Hello and good morning you two and everyone

Ally, so sorry to hear about Lucia's grandmother, condolences to the family :-( Hope your appointment goes well
Jan, hope the Ourique run is a smooth one and good luck with the trip to Lisbon x
Cruiser, enjoy the lunch; lovely that you're finally able to catch up with the friends. And when you go shopping, make sure you have everything you might need for the next day or so in the house; the weather tomorrow is meant to be really horrid, so probably not wise to leave the house unless you have to.

Another day of not sure what will happen here. It's the usual mix of doing not much of anything - the weather is dull and grey and matches my mood today so I need to find something fun to do ;-)

Have a lovely day all x

Osc, just seen a map of the predicted winds; Ireland looks set to get a real hammering - batten down those hatches, and stay safe!!!!

Morning all.
Grey, cold, miserable. it's January.
Good luck with the appointment Ally; sad news about Lucia's grandmother.
Jan, has Molly dried out yet? Enjoy your meal with friends Cruiser. Hopefully the weather won't be as bad as predicted Ria.
I need to pay a couple of bills and take Pat her paper. Apart from that not much doing here.
Have a good day all.

Good morning all, it’s dull and damp here but due to brighten up later. We’ll do some dance practice this morning, then Kellie will be here this afternoon. I’m expecting delivery of a parcel that should have been here the first week of the month - the excuse trotted out out by An Post was initially the snow, which was gone after a few days, and then the Holyhead situation which is not relevant as it was coming from within Ireland. Apparently it is out for delivery today.

Yes, the whole country is under a red warning which is very rare. Schools etc. are closed and people advised not to travel. My mobility class will be on Zoom in the morning and tomorrow night’s dance is cancelled.

Morning everyone :) xx

Ally, so sorry to hear about Lucia's grandmother :( Sending my condolences to you all (((x)))

Hope all goes well in Lisbon, Jan xx

Enjoy lunch out with your friends Cruiser :) xx

Hope you find something fun to do, Ria, it's definitely a depressing time of year :cute: xx

Morning Crommers! xx

Stay safe Osc!! xxx

It's raining here, but we're out to Tesco in a while. D rang to say she didn't need to go, as she's running down her freezer, but she's been in an odd mood all week, so we need to keep an eye on that :? Pilates tonight.

Take care everyone xxxx

Yep, she loves being towel dried

Lovely lady has just rung, to tell us she is our driver for today and she will see us at the bar :D She said she might be a little late, as she doesn't know where we are but not to worry, she will get there.

We have a misty rain at the moment, but that's supposed to stop soon. Lisbon is dry though. Hate driving on motorways when it's raining.

Spoke to Sonia earlier and she said that there is a slight improvement with Luis. But it's going to be a very long and hard road for them all.

The dreaded rumour mill told me yesterday that he'd had a heart attack and fallen downstairs. That's what caused his injuries. I asked what injuries did they know about. Broken limbs they said. I'm gobsmacked - completely gobsmacked - and angry
