Morning Ally, morning everyone

Wet. Not that cold, just very wet.

I let Molly out at 5.00 and it was dry then, but when she came in earlier, she was a very wet cat  Love being dried off. Weird cat

A small amount of ironing to get through this morning and that's my lot. I'll prep the chicken breasts for dinner and do the veg and just sit and read.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Hello you two and everyone, good morning

Enjoy the day today Ally - a lazy day at home sounds amazing.
Jan, you too enjoy the 'enforced' quieter day - enjoy that rain, suspect it's still much needed? How full is that dam near you?

Well, a quiet weekend for me - I really should have gone to the allotment but it's just so cold out that I just can't find the motivation. Instead, I've slowly but surely been sorting through various drawers that need cleaning out.
Off into London a bit later this morning for another interview. I had one on Friday that just wasn't for me so that'll be a no. Interview today I'm not totally convinced about either... the company and the people sound great, as does the role, but salary wise it is lower than I was hoping for. But we'll see what gives
My ears are still blocked and it's now starting to annoy me so need to figure out if I should get that GP appointment or just wait a bit longer, as there isn't much a GP can do apparently, and I don't want to take up a precious appointment that someone else might need more than me

Have a lovely day everyone x

Good morning everyone.

It is dull, grey, misty and cold at only 1 °C.

I need some detergents and cleaning stuff so that's a trip out to Home Bargains and I might as well call into Morrisons petrol station for a fill up then that's me done for the day.

Ria, that ear blockage needs seeing to as it has gone on long enough. I know that you did the hearing test, and that was OK, but you need to act and get some advice. Does your surgery have nurses who can have a look rather than taking up a GP appointment or even try a pharmacist but please do something.

And good luck with any interviews. xxx

Morning all, it’s a dreary drizzly one here. Edward is going to the golf club but I suspect they won’t play. I have mobility class this morning. Kellie was dropped off here at 8.15 as Miss Osc and SIL were going to his uncle’s funeral over on the south side of the city so they had to set off early. She went off to school just after 8.30 and will be here after school too. I’ll bring her to ballet later this afternoon then bring her home to her house if Miss Osc isn’t back.

We had a lovely day out yesterday, enjoyable pottering around the shops, then a really lovely lunch. All transport went well, everyone in the shops was very nice, I got a new jumpsuit which ended up only costing me €15, thanks to 50% off and a €50 voucher Christmas gift from my brother. Edward got a nice fancy shirt and new jeans. Right, general tidy around before I go out.

I can (and will) ask Nadine to have a look. She's working late tonight but I can meet up with her tomorrow.

Morning all.
It's raw here, really chilly.
I took MrsC up to our daughter's earlier on. I'm not really sure when she will be back.
We may go shopping this afternoon as the better half wants some new cushions. Or we might decide to stay in and keep warm!
Apparently today is "blue Monday" the day when people feel at their lowest after Christmas.
Never mind, have a nice day anyway!

Good luck with the interview Ria.

Not much happening here today, we're expecting a Tesco delivery this afternoon and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day xx
