Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 16 Jan 2025, 07:13

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 19°. 8-)

Yesterday we ended up going out for a very lengthy lunch. :P

I'll go for my walk in a little while. :D

An afternoon reading and painting my nails. Don's never noticed Rimmels 60 second drying polish and I claim I can't touch or do anything for two hours.

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cold and sunny, but no frost.

Cleaning for me this morning and I still haven't done the ironing  I'll try and get it out of the way today.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you two.
-2c here this morning. I've run MrsC up to our daughter's. The sun isn't quite up yet.
I can't think straight atm, it's far too early.
Sometime today I have to get my bloods done, apart from that we'll have to see.
We had aa scare with the car on Tuesday, it wouldn't start. Luckily it was only a flat battery.
We've had a test done on the battery and it's ok. Just a combination of below zero temperatures (the car lives on the driveway) and only doing short hops to town and around the village.
Have a nice day everyone.

It was 11C when I got up and went for the paper. Had to scrap the fost of the windscreen. There is now a lovely blue sky with no clouds.

Going out in the car htis morning. Will makethree short stops before finishig up at Dunelm at Bolton. I want a new basket for my washing.
They seem to have good ones. The one I have has several crcks on the rim round the top. I do not wantto cutmy hand on the sharp edges.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all

We had a great day yesterday. They've added loads since we last visited, all excellent. Finally got to our hotel around 8.30pm, had dinner and then collapsed, after all the travel and walking we were cream crackered lol

Just had a yummy cooked brekkie, not sure what we're doing today, but it definitely won't include much walking!!

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all, it’s bright and sunny here but much colder than yesterday. Edward has just gone to spray his parents’ grave with weed killer and I’ve put one of those dishwasher cleaning things on - it says every three months but this is the first time in 10 years :D Usual tidy around then we’ll do some dance practice. Kellie will be here after school as per, and Michael is also coming for dinner, which I’m looking forward to as we don’t see him too often now. Before he said he was coming, he checked if we could get ITV4 so he could watch darts

Afternoon all, it’s a sunny one.

Sorry for the silence, I’ve been getting over this virus (won’t say cold as I’ve not been sneezy, just sore throat and cough, and exhaustion mainly). I went to get my hair cut yesterday, a 6 mile walk all in, and apart from running from the car and into Aldi and Home Bargains, it’s the first time I’d been properly out since New Years Day. My hairdresser said she's had the same, she’s never called in sick in almost 10 years of working at the salon until two weeks ago and she had to take four days off.

Joe’s been working away in Yeovil all week, he’s on his way back now. John’s using his season ticket and coming to the match with me tonight. Joe wasn’t sure what time he’d be back and it needed to be forwarded to John in advance but it looks like he could’ve gone after all, too late though now unfortunately as it can’t be returned to Joe. So much easier before technology took over and we had actual cards.

Just working on this week’s shopping order. I add to it through the week and finalise it on a Thursday.

Have a good day all :D

Cruiser, Dunelm have such a variety of things and generally their quality is really good. Hope you found what you were looking for and had a productive morning with the shopping.

Osc, enjoy having both Kellie and Michael over for dinner

I've had a busy mid morning with lots of calls; one regular call with an agency; two video calls with agencies, one actual (also video) interview with a company and now catching up on a few things before heading out at 3 for a vet appointment.
