Morning Ally, morning everyone

Bit misty at the moment, but we're supposed to have sun and 20C :Hi:

Cleaning head on this morning, as we're out tomorrow.

Really need to do the recycling run, so will pop down the bar later, with it all. Rude not to stop and have a beer or three

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Ally JanB and anybody else who is up.

It was only NINE degrees when I got up. We have more of the white stuff, about two inches. So it is a day of staying indoors. Iam not attemping
to walk and perhaps fall and injure myself.

I went to Lidl yesterday so I have got enough food for a few days.

JanB, I like the idea of having a drink when you take things for re-cycling. With ours you just drive in, dump the stuf and rive out.

Willfinish the ironing which I started yesterday,

Have a good day everybody.

We're very rural Cruiser and the bins are right by the bar, which is 5kms away, so makes sense to do a couple of things at the same time.

Talking to my daughter this morning, it was -1C in Windsor

Good morning.
It is freezing and frosty here. Very slippery outdoors.
MrC has to go to Jimmy's bungalow today to let the gas men in to service the boiler.
The man himself should have been discharged into a care home yesterday but decided to get out of bed in the hospital in the middle of the night.
He's fallen over and banged / cut his head again, had to have a CT scan etc. Honestly, he must have a head like a rock; the Lord only knows how many times he's fallen over and cracked it in the last twelve months.
Apart from that we need something for tea tonight.
Looking outside you can see where some of the snow has melted yesterday and then frozen overnight.
Go carefully everyone.

Morning all, it’s quite bright here and the overnight frost was not as bad as Tuesday night, the outside temperature at the moment is just under zero. Kellie will be here this afternoon as per usual Thursday. We have stopped going to the dance practice but will do an hour of practice ourselves. One wash in the machine and another load ready to go in, I did the ironing yesterday.

hello and good morning all

Ally, go for blue to match your eyes :-)
Jan, agree - it would be very rude to not stop off and support the local economy ;-)
But both of you - rather jealous of your temperatures
Cruiser, 9 degrees overnight is very cold. I've been reading a few reports and am trying it myself at the moment as well (and a friend has done it and swears it works), and apparently it doesn't cost much (if anything) more on energy usage... set the thermostat temperature of your house to 20 degrees during the day and then drop it down to 18 at night. That keeps things ticking over, the house doesn't get overly cold and the boiler doesn't have to work overtime to heat up everything the next morning.
Saundra, best Scarlett is super excited about the ferry and the visit to Amsterdam. I agree with you; it really is a very beautiful city to visit
Gosh Crommers; hopefully Jimmy can get to the care home today.
Osc enjoy the dancing at home

Nippy with blue skies here; we do have an ice warning, but the sun is out and it's about 2 degrees already so unless things are in total shade then I think roads should be clear. For me it's my new usual/usual.... lazy morning, a bit of a tidy, log on and check out the job market and then see what the rest of the day brings. It's the usual Sainsbury's run again (have to go every third or fourth day for fresh veg) and then meeting Nadine in town at 4pm.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all :D

No frost today, but very cold. Bright sunshine though 8-)

Ally shame you can't send that temperature our way.
Jan definitely rude not to stop for a drink
Cruiser that's very cold, sensible to stay inside in the warm.
Saundra how exciting for Scarlett and family, Amsterdam is lovely.
Crommers hope Jim's okay and can be discharged into a care home soon.
Osc ironing??? whatever is that :?
Ria hope you get some news about a new job soon.

Looking at the news yesterday evening, we feel really lucky to have escaped the snow so far. It was dreadful further along the coast and I think Canterbury had some too. Seems strange to see so much snow and then the news switched to the fires in California, couldn't be a more extreme contrast. So many homes destroyed, awful for so many people.

No need for us to go out today so we won't  I've popped a casserole in the slow cooker so a nice lazy day in the warm beckons.

Hope you all have a good day xx
