Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 02 Jan 2025, 07:27

Good morning.

Day two in beautiful Nerja. 8-)

After breakfast, which will be a bacon, egg and sausage feast, we'll go for a long walk along the coast. :D

Lots of mooching and an ice cream will definitely feature in the plans.

I'm to choose dinner tonight and I think I'm veering towards Mexican. :cute:

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Another frosty start, but it will soon warm up.

A small amount of ironing for me and Grumpy is under instructions to clean the windows.

Apart from that, just keeping warm.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s a bright frosty one.

Back to normal here today with John and Joe back to work, the Christmas break flew by.
I’m waiting for Joe’s DPD delivery which is due within the next 45 minutes, and the washing machine is on.

Have a good day all :D

Good morning everybody.

It was only 12C when i got up. Spent several minutes de-icing the car before i felt the windows had cleared so i could drive safely and get the paper.

There is now a clear blue sky. The temeperature inside is lowly going up as I have the CH on. It is now nearly 16C.

Will be going to Lidl later. I need some food shopping. Not ben since before Christmas.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, a bright frosty one here. I was determined to get up a bit earlier today and get showered immediately instead of slobbing around in dressing gown or tracksuit like recent days. I did that but my tummy has decided to join in with the bug  If it settles down, I plan to at least have a short walk. Otherwise no plan for the day, the house is being ignored until next week. I had hoped to do a little bit of ironing but I’ll see how I feel later. Miserable of Dublin

Good after noon.
It was a queitish new year's eve round here; the torrential rain kept people indoors, I think.
We have been to the shops and put some petrol in the car.
The hot water ran off in the shower yesterday (that was fun) but all seems well now.
Osc, I hope you improve soon.
Jen, I've always been in favour of a winter hibernation! our next door neighbours have gone to Lapland for a few days. Their choice but I wouldn't spend money to make myself
colder in the winter!
Have a nice day everyone.

Everyone everyone :)

Get well soon Osc (((x)))

A normal Thursday here, including taking D to Tesco - a nice quieting day, much-needed as we're gearing up for yet more visitors! My sister and brother-in-law this time, but a bit more low-key as they're staying at a nearby hotel and we'll eat out a fair bit. I'm itching to take the decorations down, but will wait until Monday ;)

Love to all :) xx
