Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 01 Jan 2025, 07:32

Good morning.

I had to think what day it was!

No need for my usual morning walk as we're off to Nerja for a couple of days where much strolling will be done. :x

We're setting off after a coffee as we can leave our rucksacks in the hotel office until checking in time which means we can have a mooch and brunch first. ;)

We've booked a table for dinner tonight at our favourite Indian restaurant. :?

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Happy New Year. Boa Ano.

Very frosty start here and cold, but the sun is out and already making a difference to the white garden 8-)

Have a lovely time Ally xx

I really must make those samosas today. I got side-tracked yesterday and ran out of time.

Roast pork for dinner,

Have a lovely day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

Had heavy rain during the night but it hasstopped. Only 14C when I got up.

Not many fireworks last night due to the rain. I could hear them when i wasin bed trying to sleep.
Will phone my sonlater as it is birthday today.

Will be having chicken beast with stuffing, roast potatoes and carrotts, followed by Christmas puding and cream for dinner. May upset my blood/sugarlevels,
but I am celebrating.

Then just relaxing. May clean the kitchen floor.

Have a good day everybody.

Good morning and Happy New Year!

Not many fireworks here last night, it was far too stormy. Tom sent videos from Berlin though, he said they were being let off everywhere in the city (not organised displays, just by people in the city centre) including a station as he passed through on the train.

Joe and Jade will be here shortly for breakfast. Joe’s staying at her house tonight and going to work from there tomorrow.

Send us a samosa over Jan :D

Have a good day all :)

Morning all and Happy New Year to you all. It’s a nice dry morning here after all of yesterday’s rain. At least the rain eased off for the fireworks which we enjoyed on our terrace with Miss Osc and the children. We are both in the recovery stage from the lurgy, mine seems to have mutated into a head cold and Edward says he still feels wiped out. We went to bed shortly after 10pm last night, slept fairly well. No plan for the day, no energy. We are watching the New Year’s Day concert from Vienna, beautiful music and a stunning venue.

No problem.

The only problem is the customs here - they'd snaffle 'em
