Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 27 Dec 2024, 08:27

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 20° which means I'm home. 8-)

Had a great flight yesterday and was in arrivals meeting Don within 20 minutes of landing. :x

I'm looking forward to unpacking all my goodies this morning.

Meeting David for a drink and lunch at Gambrinus and Don will join us later. ;)

Have a great day.

Morning everyone

Lovely sunny morning, but a little chilly at the moment. 19C later.

Washing on and I'll do come cleaning later. Gently  Grumpy will have to mop the floor, that's too much tummy work.

And then another lazy day. Although I'll have to get in touch with Rita about something for Chris and Lucy. Had a long chat with them yesterday. Chris is coping with the chemo, just gets very tired, very quickly.

Molly has a sore poor. She's limping a little and when she sits down, it gets held up. It's not too bad, as she'll let me touch it, so it will sort itself out soon, I hope.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Hello and good morning all

Ally, good to be home in the warmth? Enjoy the meet up with David
Cruiser, I've also spent more than enough time inside the house the past few days and will be heading out today.
Jan, hope Molly is OK. Don't overdo the cleaning ;-) and good luck brainstorming with Rita. If Chris enjoys reading, does he have a kindle?

Well, 2nd load of washing just finished; not enough space to dry everything on the airers so will need to use the tumble drier unfortunately. Then off to Sainsbury's for the usual fresh stuff for myself and the chickens and then crack on with some work in the garden hopefully. It's really dull and dreary day that doesn't inspire any form of va va voom.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, it’s a damp misty one here. Edward has gone to play golf and I’m planning on doing very little. I might go for a walk. Otherwise, I’m going to fill in my 2025 calendar, quite a lot to go on it already. I think I’ll also clear out my gym/yoga clothes - my sister gave me new leggings and a top, quite at lot of my stuff is old so I’ll sort through them. Miss Osc and family seem to have had a great time at Anfield last night in spite of the fog. Liverpool had a resounding win and the icing on the cake for Kellie was Mo Salah scoring, which was his 100th home goal. First, the usual tidy around >>>>

Morning all :)

Dull and foggy

Back to normal and the washing. A few programmes to catch up with, still haven't seen Dr Who so will probably watch that this afternoon. Overall a quiet day beckons.

Hope you all have a good day xx

All sorted :Hi:

Chris and Lucy's post box key is in the jeep, which is in the Algarve   n they're expecting a letter within two weeks, which they will need to return their meo stuff.

So I've stuck a note on their post box (had to ring them, as their label had come off and I hadn't a clue which box it was  ) and also spoke to Odette and she will keep their post for me to collect.

Phew.

A load of boozy Brits were outside the bar. They asked us to join them, as we knew them all, so just had a coffee, much too early for me.

Gorgeously warm out there 8-)

Good afternoon.
Misty and grey here. The sun was out earlier but it seems to be working to rule now.
I hope Molly is OK Jan.
MrsC is at our daughter's, we went up earlier with some shopping for them.
I know what you mean about too much time in the house Cruiser.
Have a good day everyone.

Afternoon everyone :)

We had to brave Tesco's as D wanted to go shopping, but it wasn't too bad  Mick dropped B and Daisy off at the station early on, as she's gone to her dad's for the weekend. We're having a nice quiet afternoon 8-)

Saundra, I hope so too, but no reply to my email.....

Love to all :) xxx
