Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 22 Dec 2024, 07:50

Good morning.

I had to get Craig to take me to a big Tesco yesterday to buy another case as I've bought so much.

When I got home I went on my Ryanair app and adjusted my luggage allowance.

I'll get most of my packing done this morning as this afternoon we're going into town for a mooch in the Christmas markets then being taken for lunch. :D

As I'm typing this time last week I was heading to the airport. The week has been absolutely wonderful but flown in too quickly. 8-)

A bit of Netflix this evening and not too late a night as I'm leaving for the airport at 8am.

Have a great day.

Goodmorning Ally and anybody else who is up.
Have a safe journey home. Hope yur flight is not delayed because of the weather.

About 6.00 a.m, we had hailstones lashing on the windows and roof. The noise was very loud. I wondered what iot was at first.
When I got up it was opnly 12C so the CH is on. There is some blue sky but I can se grey clouds.
I was very careful walking tothe car. Most of the pavements were like a sheet of ice. Managed to hang onto the fence and garden wall before geting hold
of the car door handle. The ice is slowly going but I bet there will have been some crashes.

Doing some ironing and then just pootling again

Have a good day everybody.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Lovely, sunny morning, but only 7C outside, so a little chilly  Warming up to a balmy 17C later, if we're lucky

Had a lovely evening yesterday, a huge amount of food was produced, some really interesting combinations and I was given a massive bouquet, by the coffee morning committee, as a get well thingy. They've filled the house with their scent.~

So a late start, as we got home much later than planned and also a lazy day. I am getting a little fed up with being able to do so little, but I'll cook us breakfast later and shove a lasagna in the over later. With proper chips :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s fairly bright but cold and damp. Another lazy morning so far but I plan to do some ironing while Edward is watching football this afternoon. We still have to watch the 20 years of Strictly show that was on as we (mostly he but I got interested) were watching darts. Michael loves darts so he and Edward were messaging back and forth. I might do some of my jigsaw later, not too much left to do but it is all sky, so it’s tedious.

Hope you're enjoying your lazy day Jan xx

I don't have the attention span for jigsaws Osc  xx

A low-key day here, after two quite busy ones - breakfast out, round to see D, and a quiet afternoon watching telly :)

Love to all :) xx

Evening all, sure I opened this to reply first thing but got distracted

The travellers are back from Wales and both lads had dinner and headed off out, Tom to do some Christmas shopping and Joe out with friends, and found themselves on the same train to Birmingham. Tom’s now back home in Burton and Joe’s still in the OC! It’s a favourite of his group of friends.
We’re not stalking them btw, we all follow each other on the Find My app for safety reasons for when we go for runs and walks alone.

I’m now going to try and get my jigsaw finished.
