Good morning.

Heading to the airport as I've got a 10.15 flight to go over and spend a week with Craig. :D

My suitcase is practically empty with plans to fill it to its 20kg allowance coming back with goodies.

I'm still on a high from last night's SCD. So much so I woke up with one of the songs still going round my head. 8-)

Have a great day.

Morning everyone

Oh, the joy of a lie-in, in your own bed :Hi: :Hi:

Cold, but the sun is out and having the fire going virtually all day yesterday means we're getting warmer. 17C later.

Grumpy will be lighting the fire again soon. I put the lecky one on at 5.30, when the cat went out, so the lounge is warmer.

Out for lunch today, I'm insisting on being coddled for at least a week  8-) So it's either out or stuff from the freezer, easy stuff.

Safe travels Ally, enjoy the time together xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Safe travels Ally, have a fantastic week! :D xx

Good idea Cruiser :) xx

Ah that’s good Jan, enjoy being looked after :D xx

You have a good day too Saundra :) xx

We’re up at Knead, near Cirencester, waiting for our friends to join us for breakfast. We’re a bit early on purpose as it’s very popular up here at weekends, and we need two tables as there will be seven of us! Round to D’s later, via Tesco to pick up her meds. Must do some present wrapping later, hate leaving it to the last minute

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all, it’s bright but cloudy here and there seems to have been a bit of rain during the night. It must be party season, I heard people out on the street at 4am. No plan for the day, I should clean the bathroom which I’ve been threatening to do for several days. Otherwise, I might work on my jigsaw, I’m doing the sky now and there is a lot of blue! What will we watch now Strictly has finished - at least here we have Dancing with the Stars Ireland starting in January and the lineup looks good.

Jan, I think a week is the very least you should expect! Ally, enjoy your trip :D

Morning all :)

Bit brighter and dry here.

Ally safe flight. I'm still buzzing too, Strictly was brilliant last night.
Cruiser it's always nice to have a clean and tidy house for Christmas.
Jan enjoy being coddled, you deserve it.
Saundra you have a good day too.
Kaz enjoy brekkie with friends.
Osc we don't have Dancing with the Stars to look forward to, but there are two Strictly specials over Christmas, can't wait.

Managed to get the spare room sorted, amazing how much bigger it looks when it's cleared of all the rubbish  No plans for today, intend to be very lazy. Roast chicken and veg for dinner followed by raspberry blancmange and jelly this evening.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s grey but dry.

Yesterday’s quiet day where we didn’t know what to do turned out to be quite busy  After deciding on walk around Lichfield, Tom came over once we were home. He was initially coming today but once he heard what we were planning he changed his mind. We went into Birmingham at night, I think Tom thought he was going to get treated to food from the German Market but John wasn’t getting stung  One stall, on the market in the Cathedral grounds, was selling cookies. Not big cookies, they were no bigger than 3” across, and they were charging £3.50 each.
Long story short, I’ve baked a batch of chocolate and walnut cookies this morning

Joe’s just gone to his friend Ryan’s to watch football, but I think he has an ulterior motive. Ryan has a 10 week old puppy

Have a good day all :D
