Sandwich fillings

Postby Workingman » 14 Dec 2024, 16:48

Kier and Kemi have been having a spat over them but we all have our favourites so need for a hissy.

Mine are - always on white sliced bread: Egg and tomato or cress; Coronation chicken; and chicken liver pâté with a small amount of thinly sliced onion rings. Anything else are just meh!

I cut them in half, but if you're posh you can do triangles. ;)

Come on, you must have your favourites... :?:

Bacon and mushroom is my absolute favourite. It has to be on white bread.
Prawn and mayo on brown.
Egg mayo.

Love a sandwich though.

Granary for preference, or sliced wholemeal, with egg mayo and cress. Or cheese and onion (or pickle) in a crusty white baguette. I do like a banana sarnie now and again 8-) Fish fingers in crusty white bread :Hi:

Basic egg mayo on white, or chicken and mayo on white.

I’m also happy with a couple of slices of buttered granary.

A good old fashioned bacon sarny is my favorite. Notmany laces do them now.

There is a food stall in the local market which make. brm cakes and rolls with different meats. I sometimes have roast bef and horsradish sauce.
Or I will have glazed ham and chutney.

I don't make my own sandwiches..
