I'm going over to spend the day with David and go food shopping with him.

Am going to the optician this morning for my annual eye test. I also have one witht he NHS every year. No doubt will have a discusion about me having glasses.
I still canread the newspaper and other small print without any problems.

Back home will do some more ironing and housework.

Cruiser, good luck with the eye test. Lucky you; still being able to read everything; that's amazing. Are you OK with distance reading as well?

A very meh day here again - just grey, drizzly and totally not inspiring to do anything
It's a lazy(ish) morning for me - I have a GP phone appointment sometime between 9.20 and 11.20, so can't go anywhere until I've had the call. Then heading into town this afternoon; I've got a pair of curtains that needs taking up so want to get them to a little shop in the mall that does excellent and reasonable alterations, and I want to pop into one or other two shops whilst there. This evening a friend is treating me to the local theatre; we're off to see Evita. I'll catch up on the MC final tomorrow.

Morning all, it is dull and grey here today. We are not going to dance practice, we’ll work on a couple of dances here ourselves. I have various bits and pieces on my list - post a few more cards, take out money, buy some One4All vouchers, get Edward’s prescription, quite apart from h/worky stuff. Kellie will be here after school and we will be going to her school Christmas concert in the local church at 6pm, I always love these concerts, the innocence of the children and their enthusiasm. We had a successful day of shopping yesterday, I wasn’t able to get SIL’s present (a particular U2 album on vinyl) but ordered it online when I got home, got everything else though.

Grey and dull

We're off to Westwood Cross in the next hour or so. Only one pressie left to buy now so we'll have a mooch round M&S. I also need a few bits from the big Boots. We never hang around long enough to do more than grab the food on Saturday mornings so it will be nice to have a general walk round.

Afternoon all, it’s a drizzly misty day

I’m just back from a quick trip into Stafford. Present shopping is just about done now I think, just got to wrap it all now. I’ve posted the cards while I was there too.

I went into Home Bargains for some batteries and also bought a 1000 piece Friends jigsaw for £1.99!

Gosh, so sorry, I was sure I had posted earlier.

The usual Thursday stuff here, Tesco this morning then stuff around the house, bit.of washing and ironing. No Pilates tonight, my hip's been twinging a bit.
