Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 10 Dec 2024, 06:48

Good morning.

Forecast 20° and bright sunshine.

I'll have my walk soon. :)

Back to read and relax. From tomorrow till Christmas I'm busy so I'm going to enjoy my day of leisure.

TV tonight including the Masterchef semi final. It's been an excellent series. ;)

Have a great day.

Morning everyone

Cold and dark.

We-re off in half an hour, should get up to Vila Verde by 3.30. I need to find a chemist to get an anti/bacterial body wash, for tonight and tomorrow and then just wait for a phone call.

Good morning Ally, JanB and anybody else who is up.

It was only 13C when I got up. Dry but grey clouds.

Am going to Wrexham today to see a cousin.

Had a busyday yesteray so id not post again. Went to see the nurse. Everything is still OK. Said I would see her again in twele months. Then went into town and
bought some more cards. The ae special ones for children and relations.
Then took Christmas cards for the children in the class at the school I have ben to. Went to the Post Office to by stamps and send special ones. Had to wait
in a queue.
Back home, after a quick lunch, went to one of the charity shops for more cards. Then finished writing them with a break for dinner.
Have posted them this morning when I have been for the paper.
Have got one for a couple who used to live next door. They moved away over ten years ago.

Have a good day everybody.

Enjoy your quiet day Ally :) xx

Safe travels Jan, and all the very best! :D :D :D xxx

Have a nice time meeting your cousin, Cruiser :) xx

It's a dark day here, looks like being one of those winter days with hardly any daylight  We're out to breakfast in a while, then round to see D.

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

hello all and good morning - stranger Ria here (feel like I need to reintroduce myself :o :) ) Loads of posts to catch up on (again), but know that I always think of everyone on this board.

Ally, glad I didn't message you yesterday when I was watching the semi of MC ;-)
Safe travels Jan ((((hugs))))) will be thinking of you xxxx
I need to buy some cards as well Cruiser - don't send many, but will have a few to be sent off and for neighbours. Enjoy the morning with the cousin
Kaz, same kind of day here; just dull and dark. Enjoy the breakfast out

I'm heading out shortly as well; dentist appointment and then later today yet another vet appointment. My Ava had a dental last Monday and she had a rather odd reaction to the anaesthetic which has resulted in far too many trips to the vet the past few days. Hoping I get the all clear today - then I can send off the bill to the insurance for a refund. I'll try get some outside decorations up this afternoon; did the inside tree yesterday evening.

Have a lovely day everyone xxxx

Morning all, it’s quite bright but mostly cloudy here, chilly too. I’ve a few cards to post so will do that this morning, I’ve managed to keep the list right down in recent years as stamps have got so expensive, sometimes it costs more to buy the stamps than the cards! I’ll maybe do some ironing. Late this afternoon I have an appointment with a chiropodist, never been to one before except for treatment of a verucca many years ago. On the way, I’m going to put the car through a car wash as it is really filthy at the moment. Last night, I checked all the presents I have bought so far, I’ve done pretty well and don’t have many more to get and quite a few of them will be vouchers. Main shopping day tomorrow.

Good afternoon.
Grey and chilly here.
Just been to Pontefract M&S. I like it but every time I go there I forget I get static electric shocks there! Then I remember when I get one.
Safe travels to those on the move and nice to see you Cruiser and Ria.
Have a nice day everyone.

Evening all, it’s been a dry day and breezy so I’ve got some washing done.

I’ve been racking my brain for what to get my Dad for Christmas. He’s 91 but that no excuse, he’s always been awkward to buy for and I think that every year his is the last present that I buy.
Anyway, I’ve decided on a thermal scarf so have to collect that from M&S in Stafford later this week.

Hope all goes well Jan!
