Morning everyone

Sunny, but cold. Only 14C later and 3C tonight

Good to see you Cruiser, glad you're okay x

Busy morning, off to see a friend, taking all the gubbins I would normally take to the coffee morning, plus stuff for a fruit punch. Then onto another friend who is kindly booking tickets for us to go to Lisbon on 20 December.

Waiting for a phone call from the hospital, and also need to contact our bank and cancel the direct debit for meo. Should really go into Ourique and pick up a packet, to put in all the meo stuff, to be sent back. Weird. If you don't send back all their years old equipment, they charge you  40€ for a phone that worked once, 80€ for the modem.

And pack.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s cloudy, windy and 5 degrees outside. Edward has gone to play golf and I have my mobility class at 11am. I’ve just been on to the dentist surgery to see if I could get an appointment, got one for Friday morning with a promise of a call if anything comes up sooner. On one of my lower front teeth, the gum has receded right down (sooooo much fun being old!) and now the gum is red and sore. I have a list to work through for the week ahead so plenty of stuff to choose from for my attention. Good to see you Cruiser.

Morning all, lovely to see you Cruiser!

I’ve been on a long walk. I had a 9am hair appointment 3 miles away, or two buses, but I can’t be bothered faffing with buses for that distance so I’ve clocked 6.22 miles there and back. And 6 inches cut off my hair.

Off to the Odeon tonight to see a Cillian Murphy film, Small Things Like These, not one we’d seen publicised anywhere but I browsing the Odeon app last night to see what’s showing, saw that and checked out the trailer and we booked the last two seats.

We had a lovely day at Tom’s yesterday. He invited us over for dinner and Joe brought Jade too, they were originally going to a food fair in Lichfield but it was cancelled. Tom hadn’t met Jade and I don’t know what Joe’s been saying about him but Joe said to me on Saturday that she was nervous about meeting him (she’s quite a shy, quiet girl though) but they got on really well and she got Tom’s approval :D
Me and John stayed until about 8.30 watching old Royle Family Christmas specials, we got home just in time to see the I’m A Celeb final. It’s been a really good contest this year.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :)

Windy with showers

Good to see you back Cruiser.

I agree Jo, it's been a great series this year, so pleased Danny my favourite won the crown. Same with Strictly a great bunch of celebs this year and so happy to see Chris get through to the final :D :D

Starting the pressie wrapping today, I won't attempt to do it all in one session, it always gives me a back ache so I'll spread it over a few days. Can't start on the spare room until it's all done and it needs to be sorted for Hannah and the girls. Looks like they'll be here the weekend just before Christmas. Zoe, Mark and the boys are due Monday 23rd so we're in for a few busy days. Methinks we'll be grateful for a quiet Christmas Day

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon.
We have a bit of sunshine but the wind is from the north and it is bitter.
MrsC has been with our daughter to town and to take the dog for a trim.
I'm about to go and get a mini statement and some cash from the atm.
Have a good day everyone.

Afternoon everyone :)

Glad everyone seems ok, Jan I hope all the hossie stuff is getting sorted :) Osc, ouch! :o xx

It’s a fairly nice day here, the winds are dying off and it’s bright. No Em to go to town with today - she’s on a family trip to New York - so I’ve done some housey stuff instead. Mick and I popped out to Sainsbury’s for some of the tiny poinsettia plants they do in nice pots - wanted them for the conservatory - and also got some fresh veg to make soup. That’s on the go, and I’ve cleared the ironing.

B will be home later than usual as she’s looking in on Em’s cats while she’s away - she’ll just get off the bus near Em’s and then Mick’s going to pick her up afterwards.

Love to all :) xx
