Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 03 Dec 2024, 07:06

Good morning.

Forecast sunny and 22°. 8-)

My usual walk shortly. :D

We're going over to Conor and Lucia's as it's her birthday. Once she's opened her cards and gifts we're going out for coffee and cake with them. :?

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning everyone

Much cooler from now on  Quite cloudy this morning, but sun is forecast and 18C.

Washing to be done - yes, more washing - and even some hand washing.

Ironing too, then I'll head outside again and try and finish off the "remove all the oxalis" which I didn't do last year and it killed off some plants. So this year, I'll win :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, there was actually frost on the roofs this morning, first time this winter. I do like cold, crisp weather. All the Christmas stuff is coming down from the attic today, in preparation for Michael and Kellie decorating the tree on Thursday. I also got out the Christmas jumpers. I might clean the downstairs bathroom this morning. Getting my nails done this afternoon, the next time will be the day before Christmas Eve  I think I will go all sparkly for the whole month :D At some stage I’ll dig out the Christmas card list and at least have a look at it

Morning all :)

Nice and sunny :)

We had a lovely day yesterday, ended up at San Clu for lunch, their food is always good. More phone calls for Ed and Hannah did a lovely video call with the girls who wished Great Grandad a happy birthday, quite made his day :D

What a lazy pair we are, slept through till 10 this morning  just as well we didn't have any plans  Expecting a Tesco delvery this afternoon and that's as exciting as it gets today.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all. It’s cloudy but dry so that’s a win :x

I’ve been to Stafford to do some Christmas shopping this morning, I’ve broke the back of it so that’s good and I also got stamps for the cards. I went into Card Factory for some money envelopes and saw that they sell stamps and they do so I got a couple of books, that saved me queuing in Stafford post office. The service in there is always dreadfully slow so I was glad to avoid it.
I need to pop back over there tonight or tomorrow night if John’s willing as I’ve got to pick up Jade’s present which I’ve ordered from Next on one of the out of town retail parks, the store has inconveniently moved from the town centre.

Saundra, I’ve not seen Crommers about. I hope all is well.

Have a good day all :D

hello all and good afternoon
Once again apologies for the radio silence. I seriously don't know where the days are going but they're flying by. I had all good intentions of starting a proper routine as of yesterday (including logging on early mornings to say hello), but a vet appointment on that didn't go quite as planned put pay to that idea for a few days - sigh. All good thankfully, just dealing with an unexpected side effect of anaesthesia meaning a few additional visits to the vet (thankfully all part of post op checks so no additional charges) and one rather unhappy and miserable cat. I'm sitting here at the computer and looking out into the garden and despairing at the state of it, I really need to get that sorted.

This evening I think I'm going to dig out some Christmassy bits to decorate the house a bit; that'll cheer me up.

Have a lovely afternoon all x

I’ve just had a nosy and Crommers last visited on the 24th, so a week ago, but Suff hasn’t visited since Nov 1st.
