Dark and cold, but should be a good day here and oop north.

We're heading off in 45 minutes for our train journey into the unknown Not been so far north before and looking forward to it.

Not taking my laptop, so will be out of reach until we get back, late Thursday afternoon. Hospital appointment is tomorrow afternoon.

Safe travels to Kaz and M too and have a lovely time xx

Morning all, it’s sunny and cold here, outside temperature 3.5 degrees We don’t know how long it will take the central heating part to come in, but we’re doing ok and my sister is calling today to lend us two more small heaters. Thankfully our electricity account has already received the first part of the government supplement payment, so that will help with the bills. The second payment will arrive in January, a total of €250. I ordered some more C-word presents online last night, and one I ordered last week is arriving today. I’ll clean the bathrooms, that will keep me warm Good luck Jan and enjoy the train journey.

Well, very lazy day for me today The ex-work drinks last night were great; so lovely to see everyone. I only got home just before midnight and it was gone half past before I got to bed; so had a lie in this morning. I really need to get cracking on with a few things but hey ho. It's a gorgeous sunny, but very nippy, day

We were busy yesterday, the house is looking much tidier and Ed even went out into the garden to pick up all the palm leaves the heavy winds brought down. There were way more than usual, he half filled the garden bin

Very excited this morning, we're off to the cinema later to see Wicked, can't wait. It's my favourite musical and judging by the trailors it's going to be even bigger and more spectacular than the stage show. Afterwards we'll pop into M&S to collect some orders. I've been busy online buying Christmas pressies.

Afternoon everyone Thanks for the good wishes

It was a very early start as we were checking in at 4.30am, absolutely brutal hanging round airports at that time, and the flight was slightly delayed as they needed to de-ice the wings of our plane, but it was a very smooth flight and landing to sunshine has made up for it We’re sitting at the pool bar waiting for our room to be ready at 2pm (our time) and just chilling

Afternoon all, it’s been a beautiful blue sky and sunshine kinda day.

I’ve been Christmas shopping this morning. Christmas-wise all I got was some baubles and Christmas cards. I did get myself a new perfume, a lip tint and I’ve since ordered a coat I tried on though. I need present inspiration to strike and then I’ll try again.
