Good morning.

It was forecast to rain through the night and it did.
It was lovely to hear it as I was drifting off to sleep. :cute:

Forecast a sunny 21° today so I'll be off for my walk soon.

Food shopping late morning them I'm planning on staying at home for a good reading session.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sun is out, although it-s not warm yet. Only 20C for us today. But it really is lovely and hot through the window. I have to squint, as I don-t want to shut the shutter

At least the washing will dry this morning

I will spend some time cutting back the yuccas and Grumpy is going to try and get rid of the stumps of the dead agaves. Thinkwe might have to get some help though, they are rather large ;)

Leftover chicken and chips tonight, in a curry sauce. Just what you need on a cold night ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you-re doing xx

Hello you two and everyone, happy Monday

Well back from four days in Germany visiting mom - as always lovely to see her and some of the rest of the family. It's always rather chaotic when we get together and such good fun :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: - but poor mom; it really just gets too much for her; so we limit our visits to a few hours at a time only. She tends to be fine when it's 1:1 visits and said visit doesn't interfere in her routine too much, but the moment there are bigger changes to her day her brain struggles to keep up. And sad thing she is so aware of it and gets so annoyed and frustrated with herself :(

Ally and Jan, enjoy the temperatures, rather nippy here, but sunny (for now).

Office day for me for more sorting and tidying. But because I no longer have access to the internet I can't really do much in the way of work emails so, will do the usual of working a few hours in the morning and then heading in later. It's all rather sad really; this will be my last week of going in. Today and Wednesday for more sorting and tidying; Friday and Saturday will be the removal of the office furniture and anything else that needs to go; and Sunday I'll do one last drive in to pick up the last few items that I am taking. And then we hand back keys.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all :)

Al, brilliant news about the rain :D xx

20 would do me Jan ;) xx

Ria, I’m sorry your mom is struggling (((x)))

Usual Monday stuff for me, meeting Em in town. It looks grey but hopefully will stay dry. We have had an absolutely beautiful weekend, so shouldn’t grumble really, we ate dinner round at D’s yesterday with the patio doors wide open!

Have a good day everyone xx

Good morning.
Nice and sunny here. Warm in the sun, not so warm out of it.
I'm glad you enjoyed your trip to Germany Ria.
Not much going on here today but I do need to pay the gas bill; also we might give our daughter's dog a walk.
It rained overnight here too Ally, but we won't be seeing 20c for a good while!
Have a nice day everyone.

Morning all, it’s a bank holiday here, damp and dreary. Today I want to iron the bedding I washed the other day plus the Halloween outfits I got down from the attic yesterday, and I have a wash on which can be pegged on the drying rail to dry while we are away. Tomorrow we are going to Belfast for one night with Miss Osc and the children to visit the Titanic Experience - we are staying in the Titanic Hotel which is in the building that housed the drawing offices where the Titanic was designed. We’ve wanted to stay there for ages but needed an excuse! We’re treating the others to the night there. We’ve been to the Titanic Experience twice before but we are looking forward to seeing Miss Osc, Michael and Kellie hopefully enjoy it. I’ll pack a bag for that this afternoon, don’t need much.

Enjoy the Titanic Experience Osc.

Not sure what we're doing today, hoping to get out in the garden, but that depends on the weather.
