Good morning.

We must've had some rain through the night as the bird table is wet.

Gorgeous sunshine today but, thank goodness, we're promised rain tomorrow and Tuesday. Yippee. :cute:

I'm away for my walk shortly. :D

It's 36 years to the day Don and I met so we're going out for a celebratory lunch...any excuse.

TV tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cool, cloudy but supposed to have some sun at some stage and a chance of showers later.

Might have to light the fire ;)

We bought some proper bacon when we were in the Algarve, so that's breakfast sorted, with sausages, fried bread and eggs :Hi: With roast chicken for dinner.

I really must get the ironing out of the way. I've found so many excuses the last couple of days

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Happy 36th meeting anniversary Ally :Hi:

It was only 15C when I got up. There is blue sky with some wite clouds. But I don't think t is going to get much warmer.

Have spent half an hour altering clocks and two watches. I have two which are radio controlled so don't ned to do them. Also TV and computer change automatically.
Have even one the one in the car.

Just another day pootling. Will be havig chicken with roast potatoes this evening.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s a dull one here but perfect for those running in the Dublin City Marathon, including the actor Colin Farrell who will be pushing his friend Emma in her wheelchair for the last 4k - she is the longest living Irish person with “butterfly skin” disease. There was mention yesterday of going over to Miss Osc’s to wash the car but I think Edward has forgotten and I don’t care - our car is a moving slum! He is currently making some apple jelly and I have bits and pieces to do. I’ve taken down the dress up box from the attic to see what we have - it has been suggested that people wear fancy dress for next Friday night’s dance, not mad about fancy dress generally but we’ll see. Might do some jigsaw this afternoon.

Osc that did make me giggle  mine's not a lot better

Billy and Louie did really well on The Voice last night, their first song was wonderful, but the song Tom Jones sang with them wasn't the best choice. Shame, but hopefully the exposure on a big show has helped them. They are already well known in the Swindon area, appear regularly at a lot of pubs and are due to headline at the Wyvern Theatre next spring. Everytime I see them I feel quite emotional, they were such lovely little boys.

An easy day for us, I'll be doing roast chicken with veg for dinner and chocolate blancmange with lime and lemon jelly for pud, yummy :D :D

Hope you all have a good day xx

The ironing took me an hour   My fault, for leaving it too long.

Just going to prep the veg for dinner and then head out into the garden to feed all the plants. Or at least, the one's the rabbits haven't eaten

Must be roast chicken day today
