Have you seen the Moon?

It is massive and ever so bright - a Supermoon.
I think it is known as the Hunter's moon.
I caught it at about 6:15 PM as I was going out. Totally clear sky. It should be the same tomorrow.

Jan, if you can catch it within half an hour of it rising the atmosphere makes it an orange / yellow colour, and if you can reference it against something like trees, hills or houses it really does look huge.

Yes, we saw it rising tonight, luckily through now-bare trees, at around 6:40.
Now it's misted over and is just a glow in the sky.
I did look for that comet earlier this week at dusk, but I never spotted it.
I'm not sure how visible it was to the naked eye.
And we've never seen that darned boary-aylis!

No aurora nor comet here, Ossie. I guess that clouds and torrential rain might have had something to do with that. Ah well, only another 80,000 years to wait.

I was letting the ct out at 5.30 this morning and it was a like daylight out there

Yes! Came out of Pilates last night at 7.30 and there it was. Beautiful
