A partial Lunar eclipse, a Supermoon and the Harvest Moon.

If the skies stay as clear as they are now they should be visible from about 8:30 PM till 3 AM towards the east south east / south east.

The eclipse will shave a bit off the top right of the moon as the night goes on. The Supermoon will be its biggest and most colourful (orange) just after it fully clears the horizon at 9 PM.

A Harvest Moon is the full moon nearest the autumnal equinox on the 21st.

Slightly off topic, but I got an absolutely beautiful view of the sunrise this morning, when I got up to make an early morning cuppa :D The back garden here faces east, towards Salcombe, which is just over the hill........ 8-)

This moon has played havoc with the strong Northern Lights alerts this week, the sky has been too bright. I did get a glimpse of them at 4.30 the other morning though.
