Morning all :)

I hope it is finally cooling down for you Al xx

Enjoy your busy day, Jan xx

It poured down potentially here yesterday! My catch-up with the Pilates girls ended up being at Knead up near Cirencester, beautiful venue, a bakery and cafe - the cafe is in a marquee-type place with tables and chairs, and it's all very pretty.........and then the thunder and lightning started, which got a bit hairy so Em, Sarah and I legged it back to the car, across the car park which was a mud bath!  Drenched to the skin, but it was a laugh anyway  I got changed into my warm jimjams when I got home :cute:

It's looking like rain again, got my meeting this morning then we'll go and see D later.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning everybody

Summer is coming back. It is 19C this morning with blue sky everywhere. We have not had any rain so I hope to mow the lawn this
afternoon. Seems the rain is all down south. Like Kaz have ben caught in very heavy downpours.

I am going to Chorley this morning. I want some meat cheese and fish. I expect the bus will be full as it is a nice day.

Have a good day everybody

Hello and good morning all - happy Friday

Ally, enjoy the cooler weather - 32 is a perfect temperature
Jan, enjoy your day - busy one for you
Cruiser, as always have a lovely time in Chorley and lucky you to have nice weather
Kaz, hopefully it stays dry for you

I had two busy office days Wednesday and Thursday so enjoying my usual Friday work from home. So so much rain yesterday, overnight and this morning with lightning and gentle rumbles of thunder since 5am this morning. Vet appointment at 3pm this afternoon, other than that it will be a very pootle at home sort of day - definitely no work to be done outside!

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, it’s dull and dreary here, my app says the temperature is 15 but I think wind chill is bringing it down. I’ve just been booking hotel room for ourselves, Miss Osc and the children for a night at the end of October in Belfast. She wanted to bring them to Titanic Belfast so we said we would treat them to a night in the Titanic Hotel which we have wanted to visit for some time. It is in the original Harland and Wolff offices, and part of it is the original drawing office where they drew plans for Titanic and other ships. There is lots of Titanic memorabilia in the hotel, we will have to educate Michael and Kellie about it all before we go!

Next on my list is reporting our land line which has gone out of action again  Then I’ll be off to mobility class and we will probably go dancing tonight. Yesterday I got my letter and information from the hospital about my knee injection next Tuesday, very impressed as I had only seen the consultant the day before.

Morning all, it’s sunny and we’re forecast 24° today.

I’ve had a week of going out and about, and now we’re planning a day at the seaside tomorrow. We’re thinking of heading to the North Wales coast. Did originally think of Blackpool as the Pleasure Beach was always a favourite, haven’t been for years and last time we had to pay for ride wristbands but it was only a few pounds for John as he doesn’t do rides but looking at tomorrow it’s £38 even if you’re just holding your wife’s bag while she’s on the rides :o :P

Joe’s working from home today. His new girlfriend stayed last night, we’ve met Jade a few times now and she’s really lovely. She’s from Kingstanding which is our side of Birmingham so travelling to see each other isn’t such an issue, she’s a paralegal working in conveyancing.

The Tesco delivery has been, that all been put away although some has already been eaten - the perils of Joe being here when the food arrives  I’ll take my Dad’s shopping around for him later. I’ve had to research personal alarms for him too this week, he wants a wrist one so I’ll show him the options I’ve found.

Have a good day all :)

Good afternoon.
A nice day here, sunny and warm.
We have been to get Jim's shopping and ours.
Jo, I bet Blackpool is expensive these days. We had a few holidays in North Wales when I was a kid. Llanberis, Llandudno and all around there.
32c is very hot for me these days.
Have a nice day everyone.
