Honey, I shrunk the Bacon ....

Having just recorded 8 successive days under 13st at the morning weigh-in, Mrs O allowed me the luxury of a "Light" Breakfast at the local garden centre.
£25.50 for an Eggs Royale for her, the brekkie for me, and two regular Americanos, which I think is a small increase in price since our last visit.
But my goodness, the "one rasher of bacon". I kid you not, it was about the same size as an old-fashioned crown (slightly bigger than the old 2/6d coin).
The "one mushroom" included, which was a small variety of flat-cap, was almost similar in diameter. And only half a tomato. A pretty rough half at that!
I know we have shrink-flation and all that, but really, some of these eat-outeries really are taking the proverbial .....
They weren't doing a lot of business. I'm not surprised.
