Morning all, cloud and hazy sun here, and it seems to be warm. I’ll get out for a walk in a while. Otherwise, there is ironing to be done and I’ll change the bed. I’ll be starting a list for the run in to our holiday, to fit in around the other stuff I’ll be doing this week. We also need to decide what clothes Edward will be bringing in case anything needs washing and/or ironing. I already know what I’m bringing. It’s a short cruise, four nights, but there will be a formal night although he may not go full tuxedo. This will probably be our last cruise, never say never, but we want to do other things and going on cruises takes up a lot of our available holiday money.
We had a lovely walk along the seafront yesterday. It's roasting here, but there's always a nice sea breeze down along the promenade. I'm getting back to a normal pace too, it's been taking 30mins to the harbour, was quite surprised to see it only took 20mins. Not so quick getting back though lol
No plans for today, I'll be roasting a yummy rotiserie chicken to have with salad for dinner at 6.30ish. Ice cream for pud.
Good morning. That Ally has made off with the sun! Grey here again. Yesterday evening we watered the garden of our two neighbours who are on holiday. They've got it all sorted, an outside tap and hosepipe - no lugging a watering can around. We need to have a think about our garden and nick some of their ideas. Chicken for dinner here too Jan. Glad your mobility is improving Jen. Football and motorbikes on TV this afternoon, a lazy day beckons. Have a good one everybody.

It's another fine day here Breakfast out at Corretto's, then to B&Q to pick up laminate flooring for the conservatory, and some compost for D. Nipped into Tesco to collect D's prescription - handily, it is next door - then round to see D.
We've just had a very late lunch of chicken, baked potato and salad, and I've brought in one line of washing, stripped our bed and pegged the bed linen out.
