Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 07 Aug 2024, 04:58

Good morning.

Set to be nice again. :D
38° in Donland so at least the 40s nonsense is finished in time for my return home next week.

I need a few things from town so Craig's going to drop me in then pick me up on the way home from his climbing centre. :D

Fish and chips for dinner tonight. :P

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, Ria and everyone

Second attempt, first one just disappeared

Warm already.

Off to Ourique for the normal supermarket/chemist stuff.

Met a lady yesterday who is staying in Brian and Lesley's "shepherds hut" for a few weeks. Very nice woman, who is travelling around Portugal, on her own and sleeping in her car is she can't find somewhere for the night. She travels all over the world, every summer. She's coming to the coffee morning with us on Friday, to meet more people.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning.
Cloudy here.
It is certainly weed growing weather, Cruiser.
Fish and chips Ally! She does sound like a nice lady Jan; she certainly has some go in her, traveling the world.
Good luck with the cat wrangling Ria!
We have Eliza today.
Later on we are going shopping and at some point in the day we will nip up and take dobby the dog for a walk.
Have a nice day everyone.

Morning all, up and at it early today as we are heading to Wicklow for the night. Edward, SIL and Michael are playing golf this afternoon and the “girls” (my sister is also coming, just for the day) will maybe go for a walk. The day will finish with a barbecue, weather permitting, and all of us in front of the tv later to see our Rashidat Adeleke run in the 400m semi final. Another gold medal last night for our Kellie Harrington - apparently the Irish fans had to be practically thrown out of Roland Garros last night as she was standing singing to them  She is very down to earth and much loved here. Right, better get moving.

Morning all, it’s quite cloudy at the moment.

We’re in the midst of converting the house into a Travelodge :|
John’s sister has invited herself, her husband, their son and daughter in law and 2 year old granddaughter to stay tonight to break up a journey.
We have one spare room, and the bed in there is a single.
Joe’s having to give up his room for the night and we’ve put a borrowed inflatable double camping mattress on the floor in the office.

Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Bright sunshine 8-)

Blimey Jo, that's a bit of a cheek :o I'm with Saundra they should stay in a budget hotel for the night.

We had a lovely time with Michelle and the children yesterday. Can't believe how much David's grown since Christmas, he towers over me. The girls are delightful, Charlotte remembers being here, but Eliza wasn't too sure. They were only here for a couple of hours before going off to check in at the holiday park. Michelle posted some photo's on Fb and the static home looks really nice.

Not sure what's happening today, think Hannah is due some time this afternoon. Michelle was talking about using the pool early today and then coming over to the beach. I think the plan is for us to walk down there and join them for lunch at the Royal Pavilion. We're just having brekkie and waiting for instructions

Managed to catch up with the Olympics last night, but probably won't get to see much today.

Hope you all have a good day xx
