Good morning.

Getting the train this morning to Northampton where sis will be waiting for me. :cute:

Moz is being moved to her new care home and we want to be there for her arrival. :D

Going to the local pub tonight for dinner. :)

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Warm and getting rather hot later.

Safe journey and happy new home to Moz.

Off to Ourique soon, get the shopping out of the way.

Back for breakfast, pool and then nada. Too hot to even think. Oh yes, I have to make a potato salad, but that's my lot. Cooked chicken from Pingo will do for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

A cool 20C with lots of sunshine. I have had to close the curtain as I could notsee the monitor when I type.

More gardening this morning. There is one corner which is difficult to get at. Then all the garden is weed free.

This afternoon will be ironing. The washing has dried overnight.
Safe journey on the train Ally.

Have a good day everybody

Morning all :)

I hope all goes well for Moz today, Ally xxx

Definitely best to stay out of the kitchen as much as possible Jan! Stay cool xxx

Ugh that reminds me Cruiser, I have loads of ironing :cute:  xx

It’s dry here but overcast. Going into town first thing, then up to see Em at lunchtime. Mick’s really busy so I’ll make him some sandwiches and a jug of juice, put them in the fridge and keep out of his way ;)

D and the others got safely to Toronto last night. I must admit to a twinge or two of feeling a bit envious, but looking at the progress on my new conservatory soon dispels that ;) :D

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all, I’m very annoyed with Met Eireann as their forecast showed no rain today so I left washing out overnight and guess what, it’s flipping mizzley out there  Edward has gone walking over to the golf club and when he is ready, I’ll go and collect him and his clubs as we are going to Wicklow tomorrow - he and Michael are playing in a parent/grandparent/guardian and child competition. Not much planned for the rest of today, unless the washing gets fairly dry later and I can iron anything that needs it. I’m expecting a parcel to be delivered between 12.58 and 1.58, a pair of shorts I ordered only yesterday.

Morning all :D

Nice and bright.

We were thinking of going for a walk today, but we've had a long lie in instead  Will probably do a bit of admin, need to book the MOT and a few other bits. Might also pop into Ramsgate for a mooch, haven't been to Waitrose for ages and could do with a few bits , we'll see, will have to make it up as we go along.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s dull and humid here.

The washing is on the line so there’ll be ironing later. There’s not much else planned apart from hoovering through this afternoon.

Kaz, think of the enjoyment you’ll have fitting it all out and furnishing it once the building work is done! And, of course, relaxing in there!

Have a good day all :)

hello all and good afternoon

Ally, hope the move for Moz goes well - wishing her many happy moments in her new home and so good that she has you and Michele there with her
Jan, chicken cooked by someone else sounds perfect for dinner; stay cool
Cruiser, loads of weeds in my garden if you want to pop over and continue weeding? ;-)
Osc, I had the same yesterday - had washing on the line and next thing it was really mizzly and just meh.
Kaz, that conservatory will so be worth the missed trip; glad everyone arrived safe and hope they have a fab time
Jen, that's the joys of being retired - you can have a lie in when it's needed and not feel guilty. Enjoy the mooch in Ramsgate
Jo, don't overdo the housework

Office day for me today. Popping out for lunch with some colleagues in a bit which will be nice and then meeting up with a friend after work.

Have a lovely day all x

Good afternoon.
Warm but cloudy here. Osc, I don't think they know what the weather is going to be like from one day to the next.
We are just back from taking MrsC's Uncle Jim to the optician.
He will probably lose his new glasses, but that's life.
In his last couple of trips to the hospital he's come back without his front door key, £33 in cash and his top set of teeth.
Cruiser, it's certainly the weather for weeds.
Enjoy the rest of the day everyone.

Crommers, I’m laughing at the missing teeth. Many years ago, Edward’s aunt died and she was being waked in the house. She had been ‘prepared’, her bed had been taken downstairs to be set up and she was lying on the floor wrapped in a sheet. It was decided that I would look for her teeth which were missing. So there I was, rooting through her dressing table etc., glancing over at her occasionally and expecting her to ask me what the h*ll I was doing - she was a very cranky old lady. I didn’t find the teeth
