Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 06 Jan 2024, 07:57

Good morning.

It's sunny but only reaching 17° today and will be the same until Friday. This is our winter week.

Conor and Jacob are coming over for the day. :cute:

Jacob's bringing a new board game for us to play so that's guaranteed hilarity.

They're staying over tonight as they're flying to Madrid in the morning so we'll take them to the airport. :D

Have a great day.

Better wrap up warm then Ally :P  xx

Have a good day, Cruiser xx

Spoke to B last night, she’s off to a beach BBQ with her new friends tonight   xx

It’s actually looking drier here today - touch wood! We’ll be out doing our usual Saturday stuff - I might have a wander round the Outlet shops while I’m there as I have Christmas money to spend

Have a good day everyone xxx

Morning everyone

By heck, it's chilly out there

It's our cold week this week, down to 0C at night and the odd 3C   with up to a stunning 13C during the day 8-) Then the wet stuff starts again, so the temperature goes up. As do the weeds

Some ironing for me this morning and I'll clean the shower room and vacuum around. That will do for this week.

I've had a rummage in the freezer and found two curries so that will do for tonight's dinner.

Meeting friends down at the bar this afternoon.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s sunny here but cold, with frost on the roofs. Tonight Cinderella and her Prince are going to the ball ;) we always enjoy this one the first Saturday of the new year. I’m getting my hair done at 1pm so will have the afternoon to glam myself up, it gets harder as the years go on. I’m wearing a dress I wore to the same event five years ago (according to my FB memories) but I don’t suppose anyone will notice. I got new earrings to go with the dress, I love them and they were well reduced in the sale. Edward is wearing his gold jacket.

Good morning.
Sunny but chilly this morning. I've had a lovely warm lie in until MrsC put an end to that nonsense!
Out for a paper in a mo, after that there is nothing planned.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny 8-)

Have fun with the new board game Ally.
Did your granddaughter like her surprise parcel Cruiser?
A beach BBQ sounds wonderful Kaz, looks like Becky's well into Aussie life already.
Enjoy time with your friends at the bar this afternoon Jan.
Love the earrings Osc, enjoy the ball tonight.
Nothing like staying in a nice warm bed on cold mornings Crommers.

We've had a lovely lie in, still eating brekkie, think we should be calling it lunch   Absolutely no plans, Ed's due a nice lazy day.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Evening all, it’s been a dry day although foggy until lunchtime.

We walked Bill on Hednesford Hills this morning, it was quite busy up there so he had lots of dogs to play with and even a cow came over to the fence to see him, and it was a very noisy cow  They have grazing areas on the Hills and all have names, Bill’s friend today is called Jean

We’ve been out for coffee this afternoon, to a Tim Hortons in Wolverhampton.

Kaz, it sounds like Becky is settling in well! My old school friend posted on Facebook the other day that her son is off to Australia for a year in the next few days.

Osc, you always look fantastic!

Enjoy the evening all :)
