Although I'm not keen on carrying £800 around in my pocket. I think I'll put my wallet in my front jeans pocket.

It's looking dryer, I hope that stays as most of my gear is in France.... I'm expecting a pretty cold journey.

I'm sure yourve done appropriate police/debt checks on the bike before you hand over any cash, and you definitely don't need me to remind you to ride nice for a week to get the feel of it. (rolling eyes at myself)

Have fun! :D

The last large bike I rode was race tuned and I had to ride it pretty hard. This one I will treat with respect, even though it is not as fast.

Last weekend I put my 250 superdream into one of the cottages. I had to slide the back wheel a few times to get it round the slalom of plants rockery and garden junk.

My brother was the mad one on a bike. He has no right wrist joint now. I have always been more careful.

Saundra,, I have a spare helmet but I didn't take pillion insurance.

The bike is brilliant. The only issue is that I'm cold because I don't have all my warm gear. Only one problem car and a firm application of throttle sorted that. 20 miles to the M25 then I will go on to the 406 and then the 205 before I take the M3. Another hour or so.
