It's still dark here, so can't tell what our weather is like yet. I've been awake for ages, woke up really early. We spent an hour or so with our friends last night, then came home and went to bed early as our sofas have gone! New one arriving this afternoon. Meeting my friend J in town for a cuppa this morning.
It’s sunny at the moment but it’s very windy. I was planning on going for a run after walking Bill but much of the route would mean I’m running into the wind (and cold wind makes my nose run ) so I’ve called it off
There’s ironing to do. I planned to do it yesterday as it had dried by later afternoon but John finished work early and was home at 4.45 so seeing as it was a nice afternoon we took Bill for a long walk on the Chase instead.
Kaz hope the new sofa arrives on time this afternoon.
Off to M&S and Boots later. Bringing it forward a day as Boots have an over 60's event, a free gift and 10% off all shopping for us oldies. If my op goes ahead on Monday It's going to be some time before I get over there again so I'll also be looking for a few Christmas pressies.
Morning all, it’s dull, damp and dreary here with bad weather forecast. I hope the storm passes through before my flight to Brum tomorrow morning! We’re hoping to go to the cinema this afternoon, Sky have started giving us two free cinema tickets per month so we plan to use them but if the weather deteriorates we might stay at home. All my final bits and pieces for my night away will need to be done this morning, I’ll need to be careful as I can only carry on 7kg. I have a wash on and general tidying up to do.
Edward had a lovely birthday yesterday, you can’t beat family time.
Kaz, good luck with the sofa delivery! Where is it going; under the window and along the back wall? Osc, safe travels for tomorrow - fingers crossed the storm blows over
Office day for me, it's rather nippy out there and the train journey in was absolutely freezing, thankfully the a/c in the office is behaving and it's quite pleasant. Nothing exciting to report
have a lovely day all and enjoy the various bits of staying home / housework / ironing / being ladies what shop and or lunch etc.... x
