Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 28 Sep 2023, 06:01

Good morning.

Heat dial set to be hovering round the 33/34° mark for a good few days yet. 8-)
September has always been my favourite weather month. :D

We're going into Malaga this morning to meet the boys for breakfast. :cute:

A food based day as we're out tonight for an Indian meal.

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally and anybody elsewho is up.

A cool 17C here. Cloudy but the sun is trying to come out. Going to the bank and some shopping.
Back home will just be pootling.

May cut some of the Evening Primtose plants down as it is getting to the end of their season.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning everyone

Lovely and warm already 8-) Also hitting mid 30's for the next 10 days :Hi: And cool nights, which helps ;)

Dog seems to have left us, thankfully.

Done the watering and it's now too hot for Grumpy to paint, so we'll just pootle.

Out for dinner tonight, to celebrate, as we moved to Portugal 19 years ago today  One of the best things we've done :Hi:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast at the moment.

Think I forgot to mention we managed to get our flu jabs done when we were in town on Tuesday. Boots were doing a walk in so we decided to get it done as our surgery don't even get them in until this weekend. Normally that would be okay, but I need to have mine a week before surgery so didn't want to risk not getting an appointment by this coming Monday. No side effects this year, was a tiny bit sore straight after, but that's to be expected.

Usual shopping day for us, off to Westwood Cross and M&S in the next hour or so. Nothing much changes here

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon.
A cool grey morning here. Last night's moon was amazingly bright, it really lit up the clouds.
So much for Storm Nelly (or whatever it was called), it wasn't even very windy here.
We've been to get a paper and our prescriptions.
Nineteen years Jan! Well done. I'm glad the flu jab didn't play up Jen.
Have a nice day all.

Afternoon all, it’s dull and still quite breezy.

Had a lovely long walk with Bill first thing then went for a 3 mile run. I’ve since hung out a line of washing so that will hopefully dry and be ironed later. Waiting for a DPD delivery now, it’s in the village according to the map but parcel number 76 is currently being delivered and mine is 112.

Joe’s just off for his run, he’s enjoyed sleeping late this week. Even on weekends he’s usually up early. He’s been sent his training schedule for his first two weeks in his new job and during the first week he’s in the office Mon-Thurs for training and then doing it online at home on the Friday, and there’s a pub lunch scheduled in for the Thursday

Off to the Odeon tonight to see Dumb Money, we’ve not been for a month or so as there hasn’t been anything on that we’ve fancied.

Crommers, I noticed the moon last night too, it was very bright!

Have a good day all :)

Afternoon everyone :)

Ally, September in the Med is always so nice - not too scorchio, and the sea lovely and warmed up 8-) :) xx

Congrats on the 19 years Jan :D xx

We've done some clearing up in the garden too Cruiser - well Mick did it while I went shopping with D. We need some new winter planting now xx

Good idea on the jabs, Jen - no point in taking any chances xx

Afternoon, Crommers xx

It's dry here, but cloudy. I've been shopping, Mick did some garden tidying, and we've just had a bite of lunch. I pegged B's washing out for her, but think it might need to go in the dryer as she needs to pack tonight. She's off to her Dad's for a week after work tomorrow, and taking Fraggle. Jo, there will be photos of the train journey :D  I must tackle some ironing later (mine, not Becky's  ) and It's Pilates tonight.

Love to all xxx

I tried to post earlier but the site seemed to be down. It’s dull and dreary here, feels as if it could rain at any moment. We’ve been to dance practice and now waiting for Kellie to arrive from school. Michael is coming for his dinner too and we’ll bring them home - Miss Osc and SIL are going for an early dinner after work, so we will stay in their house until they get home.
