Morning Ally, morning everyone

A stunning sunrise this morning and another lovely, warm day 8-)

Just had to chase away a stray cat, for the second time this morning. At least it's light this time  Molly is quite small cat and this one is a bruiser, how he's survived for so long is a mystery. Some-one must be feeding him.

Off to Ourique soon, do the normal shopping, need some stuff from the Chinese shop and really must put some money on my phone. Will drop off our old glasses and some clothes in the charity shop, which is opposite. If I can get there, as the road is still under repair

Back to do not a lot

Will have a bbq later 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you0re doing xx

Good morning everybody.

Only 17C here. Grey clouds and strong winds forecast. Not going out today. Am going to iron a sheet. It is King size. First time I have done it.
Will drap it over the bannister.

Will then just be pootling.

Have a good day everybody.

Good morning you three and everyone

Enjoy the day Ally and also the dinner later this evening
Jan, hope you manage to get to where you need to get to and get everything you need
Cruiser, good luck with the sheet.... and enjoy your pootle day. Sensible staying indoors dry and warm

Working from home for me today; grey and overcast but dry and not too cold; currently about 18 and expected to go a few degrees higher by this afternoon. Will be doing the usual Sainsbury's run a bit later today but that's about it.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, it’s dull and dreary here and already quite windy as we await storm Agnes. I’m up early as I have a doctor’s appointment at 10.30am - of course Murphy’s Law, the sore hip and leg that regularly wake me up are fine today  I also have a growth on my face that I would like to have checked out. I’ll pop into the supermarket on the way home to top up on a few things, then I need to go to the post office to take out money and pay off some of the credit card. Our new freezer is arriving between 10-3 so Edward will be here if it arrives this morning.

Not a hope of getting to the post office, so that will have to wait until next week.

I'll just have to use Grumpy's phone

Morning all :D

Nice and bright here.

Sensible to have the growth looked at Osc, always best to be safe xx

It got quite hot here yesterday, by the time I left the hairdresser I didn't need my jacket and was happy bare armed. Lovely weather for this time of year. Ed came into town with me so he could have a stroll round the harbour (and a beer lol) while I had my hair done. After all the kerfuffle the day before we decided to treat ourselves to lunch at the Pavilion and very nice it was too. Before we came to live here we rarely had fish and chips, probably because they were usually bought and eaten at home by which time they were often a bit soggy having been wrapped in paper. Living here has changed all that, we never have take aways and I rarely resist fresh fish and chips, just seems the obvious choice living by the seaside.

No plans for today, my ankle is complaining after walking on all the cobbles.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all.
It's definitely getting windier here now, but no storm as yet. Quite warm too. We've not had to put the cetral heating on so far this autumn.
Well done Ed for the quick beer! I hope the knee settles down Jen.
We have been out to get a paper and the ingredients for tonights tea.
MrsC was talking to a member of a "well known" family from her home village the other day.
He's the black sheep of the family, the one who got a job.
Our son is coming around later, it's nice to live near family.
Have a good day everyone.

Afternoon all, it’s dull and the trees are blowing around quite a bit.

Joe’s gone to post a parcel and then he’s taking his Grandad for fish and chips.

The M6 didn’t behave yesterday. Last season must’ve been a fluke, we can’t remember any problems then, but we’ve not had a good journey yet this season. Last night we left here at 5 and there’d been an accident by Stoke (nothing serious) which had closed a couple of lanes so we didn’t get to the stadium, just 70 miles away, until 7.40. On the way back it was down to one lane in three different sections for roadworks.

Have a good day all :)

Afternoon everyone :)

It’s dry but very blowy here! My usual meet up with my friend J was cancelled as she isn’t well, so Mick and Fraggle came into town with me. Fraggle is very used to lots of people these days, so he was fine and enjoyed the change I think  We’re round at D’s at the moment, but are going for a test drive in the new car in a while - we’ll take Fraggle home first ;) Zumba for me tonight.

Love to all xxx
