Morning Ally, morning everyone

We're in for lovely day, no rain forecast until the end of the month and the funny wispy bits in the valleys have now gone.

Off to Ourique in a mo, Grumpy needs to see the doc as that whatever it is on his face is not going away, so a referral is needed. Hopefully won't take too long and also hopefully, we don't get a puncture this time

Will buy a couple of lovely rolls for breakfast and then we really need to sort out the car port and also the now smaller turning circle ;)

Roast pork for dinner - which is a bit daft, as it's going to be rather warm, but when I planned it, we were supposed to be cold and wet

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

That sounds nice and relaxing, Ally :D xx

Jan, I hope you get the referral sorted xx

It's chilly here! Such a change from a week ago :? We'll be out for breakfast in a while, then will pop in on D later as the Somerset Joneses are up today, to celebrate D's birthday yesterday. We won't be taking Fraggle as they bring their large Vizla with them, and he's not very well controlled - the damn thing nipped Mick once

Have a good day everyone xxx

All done :Hi:

He was the first one in, for a change, so we were home almost before we'd gone

Just have to wait for a referral now, probably Evora Hospital, as they have better dermatologists, apparently. Dr Paulo took a load of photo's and they will be able to see it before he gets there.

Means a night away, when he has his appointment, as Evora is over two hours away.

Warming up nicely 8-) 8-)

I do wish that people who have dogs keep them under control and don't treat them as babies  Hope all goes well Kaz xx

Morning all, dull and damp here. Something has happened across the road, a fire brigade, three police cars and an ambulance arrived while we were having breakfast. The house used to be an Air B&B but now seems to be rented out, I’m never quite sure how many people are living there, there are two children. There didn’t seem to be any urgency, eventually they brought out a woman on a back board, put her on a trolley (the stairs would be steep, the house used to belong to Edward’s aunts and uncle) and after a while it drove off. A neighbour was in and out of the house talking to the police and ambulance guys, next time I see her I’ll ask what happened.

No plan today, I might take down bags from the attic for our weekend away on Saturday. Also I’ll do my nails. Towels to be changed. We’ll probably get out for a walk while it isn’t raining. Edward will watch golf for most of the day.

Good morning all.
The sun has just come out!
Just MrsC and me for dinner today.
Ally and Jan. yor days sound good. Kaz, those Vizlas need so much exercise it's untrue, they have so much energy. Why is it people will spend hundreds on pounds on a puppy but won't spend ten minutes training it?
Cruiser, MrsC doesn't like pork so we never have it for Sunday dinner.
Osc, three police cars turned up at the end of our street at 12.30am Friday night / Saturday morning, blue lights on, yong man in handcuffs - I still don't know what went on, so annoying! (I'm not nosey, just have a healthy curiosity!).
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Bit dull and overcast

Tv for us this evening too Ally. Are you watching The Woman in the Wall? only 2 episodes left.
Glad Grumpy saw the doctor without a delay, hope the referral comes through soon.
Enjoy the pork Cruiser.
I'd be curious too Osc and Crommers, wonder what happened.
Hope you can get your kitchen back to normal soon Saundra.

Our jabs went well yesterday, my arm is a little sore this morning, but I'm sure that will wear off as the day goes on. My appointment went on a bit, the diabetic nurse had asked for a weight, height, BP and a foot check too. Afterwards I dropped Ed off for a haircut, had planned to mooch round Waitrose but it looked very busy. Instead we decided to drive back along the clifftop and pop into San Clu, a local hotel, for lunch which was a nice treat.

Lovely to have Strictly back, Saturdays aren't the same without it.

We've had a nice long lie in so no plans for today, think we're in for rain around teatime. Chicken with salad for dinner, ice cream for pud.

Hope you all have a good day xx
