Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 06 Aug 2023, 04:44

Good morning.

43° at home and I'm enjoying a far more pleasant temp here.

Going to the climbing centre with Craig this morning. :D

Later I need to organise some clothes and a rucksack for tomorrow and repaint my nails. :D

Four episodes of Narcos left which we'll watch tonight with a Chinese takeaway. :D

Have a great day.

Morning everyone

A very pleasant 22C here at the moment, but that will soon double

Done the watering, that's my lot

No, I'll cook us a breakfast andthat's all the cooking I'll be doing today. We had planned a bbq, but it will be too hot to sit outside, even in the shade, so salad it is

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Hope it doesn't get too hot Jan! xx

We had a very good night's sleep here at D's, and the sun is out! Hopefully our house is still standing when we get home - Becky sent me a photo of them playing something called beer pong last night :? :cute: :cute:  Lazy plans for today :D

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all, it is a much better day, sun and cloud but needless to say, there are showers forecast for later  I want to go to the chemist for an ankle support, the one I have is rather grubby. My ankle was not great last night, I went for a walk around the block yesterday and it seems my ankle didn’t like it so I guess I need to rest it a bit more. I’ll put aside some holiday clothes plus defuzz my legs and colour my eyebrows. Changing the towels and a general tidy around will be the extent of h/work for the day, so it will be mostly reading and relaxing with the excuse that I am resting my ankle ;)

Good morning all, it’s dull and a bit rainy.

All plans have changed today, John got a call yesterday asking if he could go on a site visit today so he’s currently in Liverpool.
Tom flies back from Krakow this afternoon, into Luton. He’s then getting a train into London to get back up here so we’ll pick him up from New St tonight, and we’ll get to see Ozzy the Bull in his new home on the concourse! Joe will be back from Poole later tonight, it sounds like they’ve had a really nice weekend exploring the area (as well as doing Parkrun yesterday morning and seeing Barbie at the cinema too).

Oh beer pong! I remember mentions of that from when Tom was at university

Have a good day all :D

Too hot to be outside now, unless in the pool

Grumpy did some more hole digging, then we both hada cool off in the pool. treated ourselves to a smaller than normal cooked breakfast - I seem to have gone off fried bread :? -

That's it for the day now, staying inside, shutters shut, two small windows open just a little front and back and the fan on. Even the sheep are hiding from the sun 8-)

Will get in the pool again later, sun cream, sun glasses and an 'at 8-)

Morning all. Clouds, sun and blue skies here today; it will be "changeable" I suppose.
Forty years married today. Whoever said that time flies knew what they were talking about.
The temperatures sur le continong seem absolutely nuts; way too hot for me.
We've rebooked the cottage for next year, better get saving up!
Have a nice day everyone.

Morning all :D

Bright but very windy

It didn't stop raining all day yesterday, but it's fine now so hopefully Ed can get out for a little walk later. He doesn't go far, just to the end of our close and back, but that and his exercises it's more than enough at this stage.

Roast chicken with salad for dinner this evening, ice cream for pud. Apart from that I'll be doing very little.

Hope you all have a good day xx
