Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 07 Jun 2023, 05:38

Good morning.

Having a lovely time in Nerja. 8-)

We walked for hours yesterday and visited our usual ice cream shop where I tried their newest flavour... watermelon. Delicious!

Full English breakfast this morning followed by a walk along the beach.

We'll head back home early afternoon.

Sewing Bee on TV tonight. :cute:

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Grey, cool and wet stuff forecast for this afternoon 8-)

Off to Ourique soon, do both supermarkets, get some stuff from the chemist, pit-stop for coffee and gossip then back for breakfast.

No idea what we'll be doing, really depends on the weather.

Retro dinner tonight. Prawn cocktail, steak and chips :Hi:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Ally that sounds absolutely lovely :D xx

Your day sounds nice too Jan :D xx

Mick and I are going into town, I need to pop into the sunbed place and there’s a nice, dog-friendly cafe nearby where he can wait for me, and we can have a coffee afterwards 8-) I also need some more SW stuff from Iceland. Up to D’s afterwards where there are probably a few bits that need doing in the garden. I must get the iron out later, as the pile I cleared last week has replicated itself :P :cute:

Have a good day everyone xx

Morning all, it’s a grey chilly day here :( I felt very efficient hanging out washing at 8am, I love to almost clear the wash basket before we go away. I had a poor night’s sleep, but as we will be going to bed around 7.30-8 tonight, at least I’ll be tired. This morning I’ll be packing and also need to book the taxi for tomorrow morning. Edward is going to wash the car, taking off the seagull poo to make room for all that will be deposited while we are away  Kellie is coming to us today but I think Miss Osc will collect her earlier than usual as she goes to athletics on a Wednesday. Right, better get moving, lots to be done!

Morning all.
Grey and chilly here too.
Kaz, as the late Joan Rivers said doing housework is pointless, because six months later you have to do it all again!
We're off to Pontefract in a mo, it's market day.
Have a great day everyone.

Hello and good morning all

Ally - watermelon ice cream sounds absolutely delicous!
Jan - nothing wrong with a retro dinner; quite fancy that myself now :D Enjoy your day doing the bits and bobs
Crommers - enjoy market day
Osc - have you thought about getting a cover for the car? Hope you manage to get a better nights sleep tonight
Kaz - hope you get everything done you want to; busy day for you

Office day 3 for me today but wfh tomorrow and Friday - yay! I'm so sick and tired of this weather though; the mornings are just still so cold - my heating is still coming on (which I do switch off immediately, but still) . Just so grey and windy and oh so dry. Then the late afternoons clear up and we have the most gorgeous days but the veg plants in the greenhouse and allotment are struggling because of the fluctuations between day and night. Most of the seeds I've sown just haven't germinated so I'm going to sow more this weekend; I'll do more at home and also pop some straight into the ground I think - surely something has to grow sometime?

Have a lovely day everyone xxx

   she must have overheard me Crommers.

We've had a nice lie in, finally getting our body clocks back to normal. Planning to tackle the garden shortly. Lots of weeds to clear so will probably have to do it in sessions.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoonn everybody. it was cloudy and cold thsi morning. I have been to Warrington on the bus. Took some VHS tapes to have them transferred to discs.
This is so my grand-daughter can view them on herblaptop.
The sun is now coming out and it is getting warmer.
Ria, I have grown sunflowers and ahlias from seeds. Planted them in pots on the window ledge in the kitchen. Have now put them in the garden and they are all
still growing. Could do with a little grenhouse.
Will just be pootlingthis afternoon.
