Good Morning Saturday

Postby JanB » 27 May 2023, 06:59

Morning everyone

Cool and overcast this morning and the sky is full os rain. We're all on a yellow alert for rain, thunderstorms and wind

A quiet day for me, I'm under strict instructions, as it's stil a couple of months before the op and the bulge is rather ominous looking

Grumpy will be pool boy. Hopefully, Nelson and him have sorted it out.

Favas for dinner and rubbish on the tv

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Janb,

Had a busy day yesterday. Went to the post office, the bank, then to Chorley on the bus. Got some lovely pork chops from a butcher and cheese from another stall
on the market. had lunch before coming home. Then planted some begonias which had been delivered on Friday. A trip to Asda. I like one of their cereals for
breakfast. So It was nearly 7.00 p.m before I was havingmy eveneing meal.

Today I am just pootling, some dusting. May wash the car.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all :)

Jan, yes do please take things easy ((((x))))

Looking after your busy day yesterday sounds a good idea Cruiser xx

We've been up for ages, it's such a beautiful sunny morning that early birdsong woke me and I was pegging washing out before 7am  Chris is coming to see us today so I'm cooking his favourite - chicken - and we're having new potatoes, salad and garlic bread with it. Meringue with raspberries and cream for pud 8-)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all, a gorgeous morning here too. Edward got up at 7.30 to wash our big window before the street got too busy, then we went for a walk down to the harbour. Back for brekkie, shorts and sun cream on and I think a good part of the day will be spent out in the sun. He is up in the attic and I wonder if he is contemplating painting the bathroom ceiling above the shower - I won’t tell you how long it has needed doing but it is several years. I’m saying nothing…….. I’ll tidy around before heading out to the sun.

Morning all, it's 10am here :D

Another scorcher 8-)

Been reading about the border control issues, apparently all the major airports are having a nightmare with the e-gates causing massive queues. Add to that BA are having IT problems, hoping it's all sorted by Monday afternoon. At least we're travelling back, not trying to get away, but much as we'll be sad to leave we don't fancy getting stranded!!

Spent the last few days at the beach making the most of the lovely sunshine. Today we're having a leisurely day and will be driving along the coast to Sea Shed for lunch. It's a little pricier than some of the restaurants we've been to, but it gets excellent reviews and is set on he beach. Nowhere does fish like Barbados, my favourite is Marlin so expect I'll go for that.

Z&M celebrate their 22nd wedding anniversary today, if it wasn't for the size of the boys it wouldn't seem possible.

Hope you all have a good day xx
