Morning all. Its lovely and sunny here this morning.

Mick is fine. He has just rung from Northern General to say that they have seen him and he is on his way home. They were very concerned about his eyes as they are yellow but they have checked them for burns and there are fine. They have dressed his arm and he needs to go back every couple of days to have it dressed. They said that he was incredibly lucky.

He is now off to his mates house to get his hair cut! (He is a hairdresser). He's just keeping his fingers crossed that he is in. And I have to find him a cap out to wear - his hair and arm seem to have taken the brunt of it all.

No plans for today. S and her friend are off into town to meet friends (first time for S doing this ) and I have promised to take L and her friend to the ice cream parlour - which is probably a mistake as the bank holiday traffic will be a nightmare.

There is a medieval food fair taking place in the village this weekend so I think we will have a walk down to that later before K's mum comes to pick her up.

S is going back to her grandma's house so that I can pick her up later when the traffic has died down.

I thought the rest of the world had disappeared when I first looked out, was all ready to call Dr Who to go find it Luckily it was just fog, which has now mostly gone to leave a beautiful day of blue sky and sunshine
Then saw Mr Heron perched on a roof over the road, he was there ages having a good groom, did take some photos but haven't uploaded them yet.
Late on here as Bb's working so we were up doing stuff; he should be home in a couple of hours so we may get out somewhere depending on traffic, he'll have seen how it is.

Glad to hear M's on his way Debih, such a lucky escape.
