I didn't say before, but we have had a week away in Grasmere and thoroughly enjoyed it! :D

We had many sunny days, some even just warm enough to walk on the fells in shorts and a T shirt  :D Picnicked one day in a gale force wind on top of a mountain though....hid behind a huge rock in case our flask blew away  Some glorious photos, those of you on FB may have seen them, plus a couple of videos.

I just wish I was still there now *sigh*........ah well, if I am VERY lucky I might just get to go again later this year.....fingers crossed.

Just wanted to pop in and say hi xx

Welcome back, Gal.

Glad you enjoyed your holiday. We have had many lovely holidays in the Lake District. There are so many
wonderful places to explore there and if you love walking, there is no finer place to go.

Such happy memories. :)

You might be petite, but you are a hard woman...... T shirt and shorts, and a picnic in a gale.

Glad you enjoyed it, though,   :P
